Sounds to me like we are going to have too many "Chiefs" and not enough "Indians" in our Florida dream adventure. That would certianly doom any business, so maybe we better just decide on 'teatime' at least twice a week.
Why is it that people can't accept the fact that it probably took 5 or 10 years to gain enough weight to have to lose 85 plus 85, and that it isn't going to come off fast. It has to be 'steady as she goes' to quote my Sea Captain husband.
We have had some sad days. Our friend who is so ill, had to go back to England, for the National Health. They didn't want to go, but the supplemental insurance wouldn't cover any long term treatment. And we know that unless God does a miracle, and I know that He could do it if it is in His plan of things, we probably won't see Graham again. It is sad, because they don't have a big support group over there. Their kids live quite a ways from the hospital, and work, and they had moved into a new village, and haven't had time to make new friends. Say a prayer for them. Carole and Graham
Marnie: I have new glasses too, and I am finding them harder to adjust to, since they are smaller lenses than I am used to, and the reading part is smaller. I have tri-focals, and the middle part if fine, but getting used to the position of the reading area is driving me nutty. I never had a problem before with steps, but now I have to be careful

I couldn't wear the progressive lenses at all.
Slavika: I loved the info on Chernoble. What a sad situation there. Please say Hi to Trudy and hope she gets her puter all fixed up.
Glenda: I'm not into sports much, so did your team win? Hope you are going to have a 'bossless' couple of days. I agree that most little girls are just born with all the special little things that are girly. Except for the occaisional 'tomboy'. but sometimes I think the tomboys usually have older brothers that they have to keep up with.
Karen: When are you coming to Fl? Made any plans as yet? Keep me posted please.
Lily: I guess you and Peggy will have to fight it out for the 'boss lady/drink coffee position. Until then, I think we will just go for teatime. You know we would all have big gab-fests anyway, so we might as well do it over tea and goodies, or even a glass of wine now and again.
Peggy: Will you go for the 'teatime' solution? I'm sure that Marnie and I don't want to be the only workers in this 'company' so teatime it is.
Have to go to work and preview the video for our small group tonight. And make sure that things are in a reasonable state of cleanliness before everyone comes at 6:00p.m. I know I want to go to sleep early tonight. I hate the first few days after the time change. 'See' you later. Ann
