Wow! Where is everyone today? I had a great weekend, the weather was Fantastic so we had a picnic with my nieces and nephew on Saturday (which involved some walking for me) and then a wander through the market for fresh fruits and veggies yesterday. I had shrimp, green bean and new potatoes for dinner and felt so healthy I'm going to do it again tonight only with chicken. The ankle must be X-rayed. It's not healing and I really badly want to get back to working out. This was the spring I was going to start running! We'll see what the x-rays say. Today I have my Fast tracks lunch all set to go with peaches, strawberries, yogert and luncheon meat. Sounds strange to me too, but it should hold me until my fantastic dinner.
Lori - they didn't have the swimmer diapers when I was teaching the little ones, they just came in wearing suits and peed on people. I never had a #2 accident though. Hope she likes the water!
Kier - Ireland! Have you been planning that for a while?

OK - get some stuff done and I'll be back.

Hey girls!

I have been MIA with the selling the condo, buying the house, being out of town for work, etc....yesterday was my 28th b-day though and it was a nice weekend. I saw a lot of my family and DF.

EAting wise I was Terrible while I was out of town (and yes, that deserves a capital T) and then on teh weekend there were 3 "cheat meals". So, I am back OP today and so far so good!!

Kier - woo hoo - how long will you be in Ire? Are you going with DF?

Lori - I shall join you for a mini-goal...mine is easy, but I have been so bad...I need to drink my water!! I find I am way hungrier without it and I have been experiencing headaches to boot!

Well, I have to go look at the past 2 weeks of posts to figure out what's goin' on!!

Have a good OP day and hopefully I'll bbl

KT

Belle2000 02-23-2004 03:45 PM

Hey KT - thanks! We move in May..so we have a bit of time now.

So, that sucks about your ankle- I hope it improves for you....it's terrible when you are motivated, but CAN'T!! GAH! What is a Fast Tracks lunch?

Horsey girl 02-23-2004 04:01 PM

Hey Belle - WW gave out a "free gift" in January to all members and new member that consisted of a DVD with sample workouts and a "fast tracks" menu plan. They work on a 20 points per day principle and they suggest you do it for 2 weeks as a "jumpstart" or just when you need that extra kick. They have a short list of foods and you are to select 2 from each list or one from each list to get the correct combination. They have a higher carb menu and a higher protien menu. I could see it getting boring but it's also nice to know what you're eating for the week without having to put too much thought and energy into it. I've been wandering on and off the plan for so long that this will get me to stick to it for a bit.

KT

Belle2000 02-23-2004 04:04 PM

Ah, I haven't been to WW in so long, I guess I am out of the loop!! That makes sense, though, as you sometimes need that jumpstart. Are you using the higher carb or protien?
