Newbie... or at least back again
 

Hi all,

Well, I am a newbie to this forum, but I was here over a year ago and really enjoyed meeting all of you and getting to have someone to chat with about oh this favorite topic of all of ours.
I stopped writing because I was working and going to school full time and didn’t have regular access to the website. But, I’m back again and with a new job, a new city, and beginning a new life in Atlanta.

I’ve been trying weight loss plans for as long as I can remember but I have trouble sticking to something long enough for it to work. I haven’t lost more than 15 pounds at a time before losing motivation or focus enough for it to come right back up.

As I mentioned, I just moved to Atlanta in August after graduating for FSU in May. I have been living with a friend’s family since then and am about to move out on my own on Dec 1. I’m beginning my path of independence and self-discovery and am very drive to getting into a life where I’m happy, comfortable with myself, and my weight. The funny thing about moving to a new city is you don’t know anyone so your peer motivation is very lacking.

So I just wanted to say Hi, and get the opportunity to meet you all and check out your forum. Thanks!
I haven’t updated my profile since last year nor have I weighed myself but I will do that all this weekend and update it on Monday. (okay, my scale is in storage until I move in! and I still refuse to get on the scale at the grocery store. I’m not there yet.) But I’ll find a scale for a starting point.
