Hey, Bandit. Nice to hear from you. Don't let a little overindulgence bum you out too much. Just record the points. Take a little time to figure out what to do differently next time. Then get right back OP and you'll get to goal. Better, those strategies will be what will keep you there. Good luck. :)

It turns out I was wrong. I didn't lose one pound. I lost three!! YAY! That's worth sticking with it for three weeks of losing zero.

I ended up with 10,014 words on the marathon, which was nice. I still need to write my words for today, but I'm aiming for a more modest 2K on the days I'm not marathoning. More if the wrtiting is going especially well.

I walked over the weekend. I'll be doing my tape this afternoon. I may take a nap, too. I was up late pushing to get those last few hundred words to reach my goal. But, woke up at 6:30. tired, but unable to get back to sleep. (sigh)

I hope you're all doing well. And still MOVING!! :dance:

Lots of good stuff going on.

First of all Lin, I was about to congratulate you on losing a pound when you went ahead and lost three pounds:lol: That is so fabulous. :bravo: Time goes so fast I didn't realize you hadn't mentioned pounds in a bit. Well, this is fantastic! Weigh to go.

Good for you for getting your articles written. And I am so happy that you are adding complex carbs back, haven't gained weight with them, and are feeling better. That's all great stuff.;) Keep up the good work.

I second Lin on not beating yourself up on your so called overindulgence. It's done, keep on focusing on the good things that you do for your health every day, and most of all--good for you for heading to your mtg. with your friends. Keep on keepin' on for the winning outcome!:)

I've had a good day. Made breads ahead for Thanksgiving and I'll put them in the freezer. Am cutting down a bit on quantity this year so I won't have as many leftovers to contend with.
Made a pot of lentils that are delicious and filling. Talk about a carb with sticking power! I'm heading for the treadmill now, but wanted to say hi and offer congrats to everybody for keeping with the program. The most important focus for me in this last quarter of the year is to stay on track, pick myself up if I stumble,
and have a goal of losing weight each week. I can do this!
