Morning everyone! I have to make this quick b/c my oatmeal is calling me and I am a hungry woman.
I did go over pts last night but I worked out this a.m. and am determined not to be discouraged. I actually feel like I am doing quite well. My mindset has changed and for me that is always the hardest part. Other than that nothing exciting took place last night. You guys are the exciting ones with all of your hair cuts.;) I have a semi-late night tonight and will need some breaks so come out and post ladies!!!! |
Hey, I have been working hard and stopped in for a break. Where is everyone is there a thursday holiday that the world didn't let me in on???? :o :)

hey becky - i'm here! now the party can start! ;) don't be discouraged about going over points last night. sounds like you've "reverse-banked" them with your exercise this morning.
laura - your CB sounds great - hold onto him! hope you find some faith in yourself. sometimes you just need that little kick to get everything into action. kim - cool website. have fun "trying" - i'm sure you will! you'll have to post pics of your new hairdo! belle - i had bookmarked the link for that couch potato's 5k training plan but it's gone now (http://kicksports.com/new/couch.shtml). i guess if you search for a beginners guide to training for a 5k you might come across another good one. i'll let you know if i spot one. hi kt - hope you're less busy today and that the antihistamines are doing their job. kier - i have to agree with you, men are weird. lovely, but weird! sorry to hear you didn't get the job. :( jess - how's your new haircut doing now you're putting on mousse and styling it yourself? hello to everyone else about to post. it's lovely and sunny here in london and i have under an hour to go till i can leave! of course, by then it won't be sunny anymore, knowing my luck! kirsty |

It's a slow day on the board and I don't know if I can help much in that department. I've been so horrible lately. Last night after McDonalds (at 11pm!!) I realized that I was eating because I was tired. Then I had banana bread with butter for breakfast. AAARgh. No sleep and no time are making me completely mess up my schedule. I've decided to take Friday night off for me. I will clean and vacuum and do the dishes that have been sitting for over a week and change my bedsheets and make a proper grocery list. Then I can start my exercise program on saturday by walking my bike to the gas station to fill the tires and riding it home. I figure if I put my little goals in writing I may actually stick to them. I hope no one tries to force me into plans.
It's really hot here today and will just get hotter through the weekend. Of course, last night I picked up a courtesy car (my car is getting some body work done) and it has air conditioning!!! So nice and the perfect time of year for it. Becky - hope you aren't working too hard. Kirsty - nice to have you back. The antihistamines make me hungry so I'm going to see how I do without them today. Ok, off to some more convocation work. I may stop by later. KT |

Kirsty- Yep , I figure I will reverse bank today and tommorrow. So far it is going well. Get out there and enjoy the weather it is another cold rainy day here :( KT- Hmmph me work too hard, Please!! I am just busy catching up. Sounds like a great plan to get back on track. I'm with ya! Well the realtor just called and one of the houses that we wanted that went sale pending is back on the market!! I am so excited. It needs a lot of work but it is in a beautiful area so once we do the updates the value of the home will increase substantially. We haven't seen the inside yet but we love the neighborhood and the outside so we are seeing the inside tomorrow. Cross fingers!!!!!!! |

For some darn reason, I am up 3# this week?!! But I worked out, ate within my points, the whole 9 yards. And that is for 2 weeks b/c I missed last week! What the heck did I do wrong? I mean, the only thing I can think of is that I was on antibiotics the past 9 days and maybe that is causing some water retention, but other than that, I have been really really good!!
HELP!! SO FRUSTRATED. Becky - I am glad to hear that you are feeling kick-***!! You are right , it is a frame of mind. Maybe this is just a set back for me, or muscle (as I have been biking and my legs feel strong?)....I am happy to hear your house is back on the market - you go look at it and I hope it goes really really well. Keep us posted!! Hey Kirsty! Thanks for sending me the link!! I will definately check it out- I've been running on my own and I think I am over-doing it sometimes. KT - girl, I TOTALLY Eat when I am tired - I think that is how I gained weight in university. I ate late at night while I was studying/writing, etc. Why is weight so easy to gain, but so hard to lose!? Damn our efficient bodies! Remember, we are genetically superior - in times of famine, our thin, high-metabolism friends would die off in a few days...we'd live and live and live.... Well, back to work - so so busy lately and I slept in today b/c my throat is RAW. OH I AM GOING TO SEE CIRQUE DU SOLIEL TONIGHT!!! yeah, I think it'll rock!! Anyone else seen it?? Belle |
Belle - I'm so JEALOUS!!! I hope you have a fantastic time! I've known some of the cirque performers and they work really hard and do a great job but I've never seen it live. Oh, and antiboitics can totally do that to you. Keep on track and when you come off them you'll probably be fine.

Atho yesterday sucked much arse Today Muuuch better I cold called some pf firms and have 2 possibilities lets all cross fingers hairs etc that i get the interview I'm ready to rock I had one food slip up today Ds brought home checkers and I ate the burger and the insides but she brought home fries for gram and I had 8 small to medium fries BUT I'm notgoing to use it as an excuse to fall back off the wagon |

Belle: I gained 6lbs in three weeks and lost 7lbs this week. It could just be water, something high in sodium you ate the night before, look at it as a blip, keep doing what you're doing and you'll see results.
