Ha ha!! Kirsty, is this not the most psycho looking Santa you have ever seen? nothing Jolly about this man.....I cut him out...

LoriD 12-16-2002 11:48 AM

Belle-That Santa IS psycho! Carmen is a cutie though...
As for the boobies-yes, the boobie fairy is visitng. You are supposed to go up to cup sizes in pregnancy....each breast can weigh as much as 2 pounds!(some interesting trivia) We are turning this board into the 3FC pregnancy board!
Jen-I think 2 1/2 years is perfect, not too close...
Jayne-how old is Aaron...?
Tonya-hoope you and DH make up soon...

My DH and i are arguing about getting a snow blower...I have always shoveled the snow...and for obvious reasons we really don't have th extra money right now to spend $500-$800 on something that isn't an absolute necessity...the thing is, I am home first, so I end up shoveling...all I want is some help from him-today it is supposed to snow 6 inches or more-I'll shovel some when I get home, and I asked him to come home early to help and he'a like-'we need a snow blower'. I'm thinking-well, be that as it may, we don't have one today, and I need your help today!!!

Anyhow-that's my rant...I feel like exploding more often now that I am PG-all those hormones I guess.

Jayne and Jen-are you guys going to find out the sex? Did you with your first?

I would firstly like to thank the PG people for reminding me to take my Birth Control pill. I dreamt last night I got PG and it kinda freaked me out. I must be cosmically tuned in to you guys. It's great how you can all go through this together.
Kirsty - You have Santa over there? Just kidding. Good luck with your next star.
Jayne - Congrats! That's such great news.
Dr. lori - I've heard a lot of people get so sore they sleep with their bras on - I couldn't imagine. But if I had to gain weight somewhere, that's surely the first place I'd put it.
Tonya - I hope your DH smartens up before the holidays. Have you moved yet?
Belle - How mean of BF to leave it out for you to speculate about. But it's nice to know sort of what you're getting. Did you get him anything good?
Jen - sounds like a good distance to me, my sibs and I are all about 2 years apart and we did alright. A friend of mine had 4 under 5 (her youngest was born 2 weeks before her oldest turned 5) - that was a little close Emma's going to have soo much to teach her baby sib.
ModLori - take the afternoon off and take care of those sore muscles.
Oh, gotta fly. Stupid training. I've just been here three months and there's still stuff I don't know and they have me training someone. Oh well, I'll check back later.

Lori, First off... if you have a lot of shoveling, try to find a way to get a snow blower. You have 9 months to save for the baby. We bought one the year Emma was born and are so glad. At the time we couldn't afford it, but we are so glad we found a way to. We have a wide driveway and it is so helpful to get that done fast.

2nd... about the boobs. Mine grow... UGHHH.... from a b/c to a big D. None of my bras fit and I hate those maturnity/nursing bras. Those are so uncomfortable. I bought these sport bras with front hooks to close and they are so comphy. 2 sizes bigger than when I wasn't PG and they fit great. Also, my boobs don't hurt when I sleep until about 9 months and then while nursing (for obvious reasons). As of right now I am 20 weeks and still am able to sleep pretty well... by 30 weeks last time I was in pain from sleeping on my side (which you have to). My hips would hurt so bad.

KT... see above about hurting boobs! Also, I know someone that had 5 kids in about 6 years. She is 1 year older than me and her youngest is 3-ish now. YIKES! She got PG on her honeymoon. My brother and I are 2 1/2 years apart (2 school years) and hubby and his sis are 2 years apart. This is why we knew that was a good spread. I just can't believe someone would tell me that 2 1/2 years is too close and it will be hard. I think 2 kids at any age would be hard!

Oh and Emma is already a huge helper in our house. She puts things away for me and helps me set the table. I know she will want to help with the baby too.

Oh Lori... no we are not finding out the sex and didn't with Emma either. It was a huge suprise because I thought for sure she would be a boy. It was the best feeling hearing that "it's a girl" from the doctor. I have gotten A LOT of criticism for this tho, because it isn't common to not find out. So if you do this.... beware. ALSO... we only get the opportunity for 1 ultra sound under normal conditions. My doctor sent me at 15/16 weeks to check dates and the other stuff, because at that age it is easier to NOT find out. So remember to do that if you don't want to find out!

OK, have round 2 of **** meeting in a short bit, so have to chow my lunch down. The horrible layoff word is being used. Have no fear for me tho, I am management and safe in my job unless I choose to leave or the company closes. And we are talking only a few people.

Time for a little Yay me! I went to the gym on my lunch break. I only get an hour and they are renovating so it took forever to find where they had moved the changerooms to but I got in 7 miles on the bike - yay workout! I'm also only at 7points for the day. I've managed to avoid the birthday cake and the christmas cookies so far. I want to not feel guilty for enjoying Christmas goodies over the next couple of weeks and then I will actually join a WW meeting again in the new year.
