Belle: I think you've hit something right on the head of the nail.,.... A lot of guys like needy girls... I am super independant, sarcastic and non-clingy. I don't call a guy every day nor do I expect the same.. This bugs some guys sooo much I am sure. Sure I chat with grad school boy on-line almost everyday, but hey he doesn't freak if I am not there and vice versa. I build up the guys I date with the truth, but I don't worship them, I just enjoy being with them because they bring out a side in me that I don't show to many people! But yeah, some guys always tell me how different I am than their exes since I am goal oriented, confident, motivated and what not, and then dump me for their exes or girls who are like their exes. Maybe I am just too damn intimidating hehehehehehehe (my mother raised me well)... But regardless, I am not the type to walk over a guy either... I like an equal partner.

Rina: still that was nice of you to let BIL live with you! Sounds like that was an okay situation which is good.

Jess: My dear, god, there's something to say about honesty, but both those guys sound like self-important twits and you could do MUCH better!!!!

Lisa: yeah the same situation is at work too... everyone is sick... I seem to be okay though after my dizzy/fainting thing... It has happened a few times this year though.

Deb: I feel for you, man I used to remember singing that for hours with my brothers, maybe I apologize to my mom about that.

Lori: Do spend that time with your family. I am thankful I have the 24th off, so I am rushing back to Montreal and get to chill with my bros and my parents for a week... BTW how many brothers do you have? I have 3, 2 older and 1 younger.

Kirsty: well everyone thinks they did horribly on the exam so hopefully my prof will curve the results. Regardless I already have a pass in the course, so it should be okay.

Anyhoo, I am meeting my mom in an hour and have a job interview at 2:30... I have another job thing on Monday... Hopefully I'll have a nice job soon (well I do now, but it's a student position):)

Take Care!

Ali

Wow, suddenly busy today. I hope I have time to say hi to everyone. My holiday parties start this weekend with a family gathering, then two at work next week and another next weekend. I must get to the gym, I've gained way too much weight in the past cuple of months. My sig is all off and I keep re-committing and not following through. AAArgh! I am not a weak person, I have to get back into this. One day at a time I guess.
I have to train for a bit, I'll respond later.

Alright, a chance to respond:

Kirsty, so nice to have you back - you look awesome at the office party!
Deb - Why worry about cleaning the apartment? You're just moving out? (OK, I know that's not realistic but it's ok to make other things your priority.) Don't forget to take a bit of time out for you. Nice bath, trashy novel. Even a 1/2 hour can rejeuvenate.
Lori - I do a lot of sitting around looking busy. It's kinda nice to get paid to do nothing.
Jess - I see the humor in the situation. It's good to have these guys revealing their true selves before you get too far in. Enjoy yourself!
Belle - I'm glad you're feeling better. What a good BF! Maybe the dream was a result of your illness.
Lisa - sounds like you had a good time.
Dr lori - I only mind seeing numbers go up when they're on my own scale so post away
Rina - That's nice of BIL - enjoy the dinner.
Ali - let us know when you get one of those "real" jobs. Sending good vibes your way.

OK - now that the entire department (except me) has gone to a meeting, I've got some time for e-mail. Have a good weekend everyone.

Lisa - I live in Middletown, its just north of Newport. We are 1.5 hours from Boston. We moved here from the Lowell, MA area. We are HUGE Bruins fans...I got Jay addicted to them! I play hockey myself and grew up with brother and a dad who loved hockey =)

Ali - Good luck with the job interview! I have 2 brothers, 1 older, 1 younger. My parents and my brothers are my best friends.

KT - Yeah everyone tells me to enjoy getting paid for not doing anything. But I can't stand it. I'm bored and frustrated and it makes me want to eat, which is really bad. One guy here tells me I have too much "youthful enthusiasm". I actaully WANT work pushed my way. Give me deadlines!!!! I want to feel like the work I'm doing is actually helping someone.

Ok I think thats it here. I actually got busy because I got pulled onto a project today. I might even have to stay really late to help becuase they have a definite deadline. I also offered to come in Sunday to help. They are way far behind and need to get the vehicle in the water TUESDAY and its not even finished system testing, let alone put together.
