Oooops ... I just found out the hard way that today is my Mother's birthday. Good thing I was standing on her porch w/ a pot of mums when she started singing Happy Birthday to herself. :o

I blew this weekend points wise. Grrr ...

Hey y'all

I spent all of Sunday fixing my cpu.... I actually had to format c: so I was not a happy camper. I spent 2 hours on the phone with Dell Tech support, but I basically lost a lot of information on my computer...grrrrr (all my important stuff had been saved).

Deb: I didn't have a perfect weekend foodwise either! It happens, it's over and today is a new day:)

Hope you've all been doing well. I had a wonderful time on vacation but naturally am now swamped at the office. Didn't workout on vacation (had a really bad chest cold) and ate like a pig! Am spending this week slowly getting myself back on track food wise - seems to overwhelming to do everything at once. Today I am concentrating on working out and drinking water. I'll try and find time in the next few days to catch-up on the postings. In the meantime, have a great day - I'm sending diet coke vibes to everyone!

WOW, where is everyone today??? It is cold here and really looking like Fall. We are trying to find Emma a new winter jacket, but it isn't easy.

I am still sick, but I think I am getting better. Still all stuffy tho. Hubby was sick all weekend with cold and flu like symptons.

Oh, got a call that they moved out carpet installation up to tomorrow and Wed. Otherwise we were waiting 2 more weeks. Kind of excited but they are being a little butt headed about it. I have to find someone to let them in on Wednesday because I can only get tomorrow off.

I am here! The wedding was beautiful but the eating was not..oh well, another day...I am journalling tho-I am in for the journalling for one month straight challenge, no matter how bad i am! And i am estimating everything that I don't know!:) Hi to everyone...tomorrow I have to go get my dress hemmed for my best friend;s wedding...I can't believe how close it is!

Otherwise, today is just a regular day. One of my patients is in labor-I am going to try to pop over and see her...

BTW, does anyoone know if you can put frozen steak directly on the barbecue????

Hi everyone. Well, packed up all my stuff at the ex's this weekend. It went really well and I had help so that was nice - it's all stacked in one corner of the living room waiting for the 15th. I can't wait to get into my new place!!
Deb - hope work is better for you this week
Ali - you should be proud you can do that kind of stuff with your computer - I always have to call in a favor.
Winter - vacations are good - I'm glad you enjoyed yours
Jen - YAY carpet - it'll be like having a new house.
Lori - You can put them right on frozen but they will end up quite rare in the centre - I quick thaw mine in hot (not boiling) water as long as they are in a package - right under the water will give you a bad flavor - and then put them on.

I'm soooo shot from working this weekend. UGH!

I managed to go for a walk after getting Jeremy on the bus & off to school. So what if I got into work @ 11:30 AM ... I have needs too you know. ;) My boss is cool about it.
I plan on leaving early too. :doh:
I have a very much "don't know, don't care" attitude here today. Oh well. Good thing it's Monday & quiet.

KT - I'm glad to hear that you're making moves. Good for you! And that's an interesting tip about the steak (not putting it under running water) I've never heard that before. I normally let frozen foods sit in a warm/room temp bath to help "quick" defrost.

Lori - Must be exciting to have a patient that's in labor. You're so "cool"/relaxed about it too. I think it's cool that we have a Dr. here on our thread.

Jen - Good to hear that you are feeling better. What great news about your carpet. I've never had any luck with stuff like that. Cool!

Ali - I have a Dell at home too. Love it! And a Dell @ work. No problems (knock on wood) yet.
You're right ... it's a new day - time to move on foodwise!
