Susan just e-mailed Tammy and me about her dad.
He has taken a turn for the worse. His kidneys have shut down and he's not eating.
Things look really bad.

Let's all keep that family in our prayers.

Ya'll are the best! I'm not sure how much I'll be posting right now. It's just too hard. I'm going down after this week. Right now things are about the same but I am an EMOTIONAL wreck!! As my mother in law pointed out yesterday, I've already been through the hardest thing in life so I too will make it through this too. My in laws were here this weekend. I walked in the door on Friday, hugged her and burst into tears! What a greeting! They are wonderful! I'm glad they were here.

We went to my nephews 3rd birthday!!!! He is sooooooo sweet and funny and smart and......hahahhah, I'm not the proud aunt!!!! Anyways....I totally stayed OP there and passed on the cake and ice cream!!!!!

The weather here was gorgeous this weekend! I think it's supposed to be pretty today & then the rain moves in tomorrow through early next week. :( At least it isn't the "s" word though. Hubby & I took advantage of the weather Saturday & went to test drive a Town & Country. They let us keep it through the weekend. We find out today what the payment will be a month. Hopefully it won't be out of our budget & we can get it. I absolutely LOVE it & so do the kids. Keep your fingers crossed for us. IF we are able to afford it, then I get my deposit back on the 15 passenger van mom rented for our ENTIRE FAMILY vacation to Florida. I can't imagine 12 hours in a 15 passenger van with my husband, kids, sister, brother in law, mom & her current ex-husband/live in/friend/whatever the heck he is.

Well, I guess I'll get out of here & get ready for work. I think I may actually be on time today - first day in many weeks! Have a great Monday!!! :cool:

omg it took forever for me to find you guys!!!!!!!!! i got really nervous lmao.

I was like omg what am i gonna do i cant find my ladies lol......ok so heres the rundown. Im 7 weeks (we think) as of Friday. I have my first appt this Friday at 1 and I am SUPPPPPEEERRR nervous and crazy excited!!! Hopefully we get to see the lil bean!!! lol

Weather here in Ohio has been beautiful this weekend and today!!! Thank goodness bc I was going to go nuts if I saw one more snowflake!!!

I gained a pound :( lol........i know i know it inevitable. Im still walking though! I did 2 miles yesterday THEN Ray had a brilliant idea to go on a hike threw the woods, i went but needless to say I was not a happy hiker lol

Hi,

No change!!! Our family priest came by today and did the anointing of the sick. Daddy tried to do the sign of the cross but wasn't able to. I called and talked to him. He couldn't talk but he mumbled. I kept saying "Daddy, I love you! I'm coming home this weekend." I could make out the words "I love you, Baby" . He said it over and over again. Oh my gosh!! I love that man and idolize him!!!! I think I'm going to tell him next week, "Seamus is waiting on him when he is ready" even as hard as it will be.

Thanks for all the prayers!!!! We need them !!!

Hello everyone! Sorry for being missing in action. Tim and I left early last Friday and headed to Lafayette, IN, for the weekend. Lauren's family was having a wedding shower for her on Sunday. We went tux shopping, and I looked for a different dress for me for the wedding. I found one that I like better than the first one, and Tim said I look skinny in it! (yeah, right!) Anyway, we were on the go so much, that I crashed when we got home. I was so tired. I missed my class at the Y on Mon. and Tues. mornings. Just too tired. AND I'm leaving again in the morning. Another bus trip, this one to Michigan to a casino there. I guess there are lots of shops around, and I always like that. It's an overnight trip, so I'll be home on Thursday night.

Stephanie, what's the scoop on the Town & Country? We have a Dodge Grand Caravan, and I know they are almost the same. I love mine.

Susan, I just don't know what to say except that I'll be continuing to keep all of you in prayers. I know how hard it is, and I know how close you are to your dad. Take care!!

I'm going home tomorrow! I'll go afterschool. I think I need to go give Daddy a pep talk of one kind or another. I had my sister tell him and she said "Dad, Susie is coming tomorrow, isn't that great?" He nodded yes!!! Just love my Daddy!!!

Pat had a long talk with me tonight. He is so logical and makes me calm. Guess opposites attract!!! :) He told me to go down there and enjoy mom and dad. Make dad happy because that's what I do for him. He said to watch because mom and dad are teaching us something!!!! Gosh, he is smart!!! He said just enjoy my time with them and come home at the end of spring break. He said "you never know, you might be what your dad needs? and we'll be playing this game again. And then maybe your visit will make him happy and then he can go in peace." Either way, I go with a peace in my heart! And an extra love for my husband for being so wonderful!

Husbands can be great sounding blocks. Susan, I'm glad Pat said all that to you. Be careful and know we are here for you.
