You've written lots of interesting stuff. First of all, congrats and best wishes to Lin and dh on their 25th. anniversary. Enjoy your dinner and reminiscing about all good times you've had together. Lauren, virgin fat territory--fabulous. I am so pleased for you. I know that wagon is there for me just waiting for me to jump on and I've got to do it and figure out why I don't want to later on. As far as cholesterol==find out the figures first. Although the total number is higher than you'd like, the additional exercise may have boosted you good numbers and the total may wane in significance. Mousie, Hi kiddo. Take care of yourself . I love to hear from you. Miata, Always good to hear from you. Hey, when you slip please try not to beat yourself up. You're much too nice for that. We all slip--the error is in not picking ourselves up and getting right back on track. You're doing great. Write more about the quilts. You're getting me tempted to buy a book and some supplies and start something small. Today is a good day following two vacation days that were fun but the eating was out of whack. I'm meeting my friend for her birthday dinner out, but she and I always have good food, so I'm not worried at all--a turkey or veggie burger or eggwhite omelet, etc. You all do well and keep on keepin' on. Lin, your class sounds like just the thing you need to get you going. I'm sure we'll be seeing a completed book in no time flat. :) Lauren, virgin fat! YAY! That must feel so good. Good for you, you stuck with it and something gave. Yay! Judy, it sounds like you're right back on track after the vacation eating being out of whack. Wow, that was a bad sentence, but you know what I mean. You've shown lots of growth in the area of getting back up. Perseverence and all. It's a great thing. Kathy, I hope your quilts are on the web soon, I would like to see them. My DS is a quilter, one she made for me is on our bed. Burgundy and hunter green and ivory. It means a lot to me. Still not losing, Turtles. A trainer I have been talking to at the gym is as stumped as I am. We've gone through diet records, talked about training methods, blood tests, food quality, everything. She's going to talk to some other trainers and see what she can come up with. Until then, I'm still recording on fitday.com and still exercising. I'm not back at my regular gym schedule but I'm closer. I'm feeling better, after what happened. Not quite back to my best, but I'm getting there. Judy, |
