Hi Girls!

My week is finally beginning to look up. The plumber actually showed today and by all appearances my whole sewer line problem is resolved. One less thing to worry about this week!

Jess - I'm sorry I didn't explain myself very well. I didn't take a cruise by myself. I just took a vacation by myself. I get some travel benefits through the co. I work for so I stayed in a condo (complete with a very private outdoor jacuzzi) out near Williamsburg and had a ball seeing the sights.

Your dress is stunning Kim! You're going to be such a beautiful bride.

Lisa - You'll have so much fun when you're here. I've spent this spring learning all about the neat things Indy has to offer. One bar some of my co-workers love is an outdoor beergarden that is a 1/4 of a city block that is walled in. And there is a walking/bike path that runs some 30+ miles through the city. I love to jump on at different places on the weekends, see parts of the city and get in a good 5 or 6 mile walk.

Jayne - thanks for your thoughts on a possible job search. I'm having trouble making a decision because while my job no longer interests/challenges me, I really like my co-workers and the company I work for. I've decided that I need to cut myself a little slack and am going to take the next 2 or 3 weeks to think about what I want to do.

Need to get back to work.

Thanks, girls! That makes me feel better. I'm not a very good decision-maker, never have been, and it helps to get encouragement! My sister is a little nervous about making the dress, but I know she'll do a great job. She made a bridesmaid's dress for me a few years ago and the quality was better than the store-bought dresses the other two girls were wearing.

I'm going to do it in white, and if you can't tell from the pattern picture, it has a layer of overlay, and I'm hoping to find a pretty pattern for that.

As for the ring, I can't get it to show up! It says the file is too big and I can't seem to make it any smaller.

Hi All-
Just posting after my HOUR LONG walk. Plus the walk over to the library. Definitely a good exercise day. And, I unexpectedly played tennis last night. I was supposed to go swing dancing, and this somehow morphed into tennis, go figure. But no drinking like there might have been at dancing, so all in all a weight loss plus, I suppose.

Kim- I love the dress. You should totally go for it. And it looks like you don't have to be super skinny to wear it well, so I'm sure you'll look great!

Belle- Congrats on the loss! Whoohoo! So, do you have to readjust your GW now that you are shorter? That would really stink.

Oh and all the shorter gals whining about their desire for some extra inches...can we trade for a while? I am so sick of being the same height or taller than practically every guy I meet. How I envy the shorty girls....

And yeah, that whole plus-sized thing is bizarre. There was story in the paper here about a local plus sized model, and she's 5'10" and....get this...140 pounds. Oh, the horror! So overweight! HAH!

Well, library's closing shorly (can't wait until I have internet at home again, but the perpetual walks to check email are good exercise, I guess), so I'd better get going.
