School doesn't start until Aug. 26th for my teeny bopper! But, I had the money and I wanted the end of summer sales. When the Back To School Stuff starts to appear.........I feel like I don't get as much on sale. Ya know what I mean?!?!? My daughter likes Hollister and Abercrombie, but I only let her buy it on sale........24 dollars or less!!!!! Thats my deal and I don't budge!!!!!!:p She doesn't even fight me on it anymore. hahaha!

Dark Knight - um, it was a good movie. Definately a "guy" movie, but I did manage to sit through it!;)

Mama Mia - um..............I don't know. I liked it, but I wouldn't see it again. I liked the cast and the setting.

I'm looking forward to Swing Vote. Did I ever mention that I was in love with Kevin Costner?:o hee! hee! I told my husband that if "Kevin" ever pulled up out front in a limo, that I would just have to go with him. But only him!!!! I think my husbands safe!;)

Susan, I'd never be able to live in Texas. It gets too hot down there! It's hot enough for me in Ohio on the hot days. I can't believe it is the end of July, and you'll be headed back to school next month. My friends are already freaking out about it. lol Hope Biscuit is feeling ok today!! I laughed about the AC and the lights and tv on. Bob was always so cold the past few months, that I was lucky to get the AC turned on at all. I usually have it set between 72 and 74.

Tina, the blackberry cobbler ice cream sounds just yummy!!! The bedroom furniture is the Ashley brand, and it is called Bittersweet. You can go to the Asley furniture website and check it out.

I'm meeting a couple friends for lunch today, and then later my brother and sil are coming to take Tim and I out for dinner. Their boys are at band camp this week, so it will just be the 4 of us.

We went up to the Eagles last night for a soda and to bug the bartender. She's been a friend for several years. Quite a few people there that I know, and they are all concerned about me after Tim goes back to school. I think they are plotting how to get me out of the house. lol

Well nothing exciting happened today except a trip to the dentist for a cleaning. I love the way it feels after you get your teeth clean.

Tammy, I'm glad ya'll went up to the bar. I know it was hard but it probably did ya'll all good. I know it will be hard once Tim goes back to school. Right after Seamus died, my good friend called me everyday to ask me "what are you doing today and where are you going?" Friends :hug: are the best!!!!

Susan, are you burning up? It was so hot here today. I was going to Target but just didn't want to park so far away and have to walk. It just wasn't worth "frying" out in that sun. I'm sure I melted off some pounds just getting into a hot car. :lol: :lol:

Tammy, I like your bedroom set. Are you getting the sleigh bed? I've always wanted one. I also want a queen size one. You will stay busy when Tim leaves. There will always be times when nothing will help. It's just the way life is---we sure don't have to like it but that's that. :(

Hello all. I'm busy with housework and trying to get the house in order before I have to return back to work on August 7th. I will be going into work tomorrow for a bit to start getting my room ready. We have 5 days of Pre-Planning, but that is filled with meetings and we don't have a lot of time to work in our rooms.

I had been planning to work in the yard some. It needs a lot of work. However, when I was mowing a gentleman that went to my school with my mom drove by and stopped. He is willing to cut the grass, trim hedges, cut low tree limbs, trim back some badly overgrown areas, and rake for a great rate. I can't wait to see what it will look like.

Tomorrow I have my first WI at WW's. I'm actually looking forward to it.

Pat worked from home today. I took his car to get inspected. I mentioned to the guy, I wished they could do the truck (it's a 1988 jeep truck) He said, "I can do it." So I rushed home and told Pat. The truck has no a/c!!! So I rushed back up there with the truck. It passed. The last couple of years, I've taken it to the Jeep dealer and it takes a couple of hours.

Dori, I need to work in my room too but I don't want to go up there! I think it's denial. :D I don't look forward to the meetings.

Tina, Yes melting is the correct word! They say it's suppose to be in the 100's for the next week.

Tammy, did you get your new bed? We need one too!

WOOHOO!!! I have excellent news. I weighed in this morning and I lost a whopping 3.8 lbs. I could barely believe my eyes. I've gone a little off track today, but not too far. I still have my weekly 35 points I can use. I can't wait for next week. Still trucking along with work at school.

I talked to a friend of mine today. I was telling her how my cousin (who is larger than I am) is doing a marathon for Lymphoma. Anyway, I am so proud of my cousin. I told my friend that I would like to start doing some races but I didn't have anyone that would do them with me. She said "I will." We are going to do some together. So I think we are going to start with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in October. It's a 5k (I think) She is trying to lose weight too. I never see her but I said we could work on it together.
