Morning everyone. I'm stuck at work (I don't have sick time yet, so I have to make up the day I missed due to the tonsilitis and strep...) It's supposed to be a gorgeous day and I wanted to get my dad to go look at this Blazer that I desperately want. On the bright side, I have a "date" with my boyfriend tonight. We've been together since November 2000 (about a year and a half) so we don't go out much, just usually stay in watching a rented movie or HBO. Tonight, we're going to see I Am Sam (yeah, I know, it's been out for like a month), but we haven't had a chance to go see it yet and I really want to.

So, that's what's going on here... Maybe someone else will check in and we can talk.

Hey Jess, I am not working, just goofing around on-line when I am supposed to be balancing my checkbook. Haven't done it in months. Emma is napping and so is hubby. The cat is bothering me miserably! Hope you are having fun at work.

I am getting over my sickness, still have the headache tho. Hubby is worried, but I am not. Everyone at work has been sick the last couple of weeks. Not PG either, checked that out. So the nauseousness was just some sort of bug! Poooo!!

Still stoked about our trip in May. Now we are trying to save money to take a week long trip in the fall also!!

Hi all.

I was working yesterday Working on the weekend sucks but what can a girl do?? I'm excited today about the Canada vs US Gold Medal game!! It should be awesome! I can't wait -only 3 more hours We're getting more compnay today. My grandparents are coming to the city for some kind of appointment with a specialist. Its always good to see them. The only bad part is when they come they always like to take us out to this buffet place for a meal but the buffet has no salad bar, only things like fried chicken, perogies, sweet & sour pork, mashed potatoes, well you get the picture. How in the world is a girl supposed to eat healthy there? It will be a challenge. I have some banked points but I would rather not use them if I can help it. I'll let you know how it goes. I wish I could talk them into trying a different restaurant. Anyway just thought I'd drop in a nd ramble since I probably won't be able to get on here tomorrow when the GP are still here.

Jess, seeing a movie after a month isn't bad. We usually go to the cheap theatre here where you can see a movie for 2.50 and the movies are usually a couple months old at least. I figure who cares because they're still new to us.

JenL I hope your mysterious illness leaves soon! Have you checked in with a doctor? Hopefully you are resting up this weekend.

Rina - woo hoo!! Both CAnada and the USA played awesome, eh??? Of course, I was crying when we won, but it was also great to see some of the US and CAnada guys laughing and hugging after (team mates, etc). I thought it was great hockey!!

The womens' was too - good hockey to watch.

My name is Kendra, and I'm 22. I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. This is my first week back on the program; I've done it before, so I know it works. If I can just stick TO it this time, I won't need to just know it works, I'll be living proof. I'm hoping to lose 80 pounds, six of which are already history.

Right now I work at Starbucks, which doesn't help matters... I graduated in May with a degree in Management and Marketing. It's just finding that first job in my field that's got me stressed beyond belief. I'm trying to break into something before I move in August so that there's a job on my resume that's not serving coffee. Argh.

Enough complaining. I'm off to check the classifieds. Hope everyone's having a good day!
