Anything down is awesome. Hang in there Princess & good for you for making the effort to go to gym. Cherry - what is happening with you? You sound really down - can we help in anyway? Is is soooooooooo cold up here - I went for walk at lunch & my eyes were tearing & freezing on my face. Felt good though when I got back. Oh my word! It is just too cold here for words! I am sure that Bandit is super cold up her way also... I will be glad to see spring this year :) Judy: Great job! I am with Bandit, any thing lower then the previous W/I is a good thing! I was thinking about going to Core but I have a hard time knowing when I am "full/satisfied" so that might turn into a license to eat for me... I am staying with Flex for now. Good luck if you do change though, I know you have done it in the past. Bandit: Any plans for the upcoming weekend? I know you and your family do lots of fun stuff all year round! Cherry: I hope you are feeling better today? I have a check up at the specialists office today, I am hoping for a good report. Anxious for W/I this Saturday, I hope that I do well. Last week when I went there the place was packed... I mean it was beyond standing room only so I only W/I and then left but I would like to start staying for the meetings so I guess I need to get there earlier... Have a great day ladies! Princess |
Morning all and happy friday! Super cold here again today but at least the wind has died down a bit.
No plans for the weekend really, just W/I Saturday morning and then some grocery shopping followed by a big round of house cleaning... Blah! Got on the scale this morning and it is back up again, hmmm, I will keep at it though! Went to the doctor yesterday, the three rounds of spinal injections is all they can do, if it gets worse then it is surgery... for now it is getting better though so I will just keep at it and pray for the best. How is everyone else doing today? Any plans for the weekend? I will check back later on. Princess |

Princess - hoping you get better without surgery & good luck tomorrow at your w/i. As far as weekend concerned, no plans other than regular shopping, cleaning & I will go to bingo with my mom either tonight or tomorrow. And staying warm - it has really been a cold week up here & calling for snow tomorrow. Maybe make something in crockpot for tomorrow - don't know yet. How's everyone else doing? Does anyone watch Biggest Loser? Take care. |

Princess, I'm sending :goodvibes: that your back starts its mending and you feel better. I'm sure healing like this takes a while. Good luck at your WI. You've got your head in the right place. Bandit, Good to hear from you too. I have caught a couple of the Biggest Loser shows and find it awesome. Maybe I'll try and catch this season too. Tomorrow my dh and I are hosting a mystery party. Family is coming in and we'll all be assigned parts to play. One of us will receive instructions that we're the "killer" and will be allowed to lie during the game to hide our deed. Everyone else might have a motive to "kill" the victim, but we have to be honest and reveal all our clues throughout the game. At the end, we all try to figure out and name the killer. We've done this before, but not with this crowd, so we're hoping for a good time. I'll let you know how it goes. I've got myself protected with WW's style desserts and a healthy appetizer. Quiet weekend for me... went to W/I on Saturday morning, thought I was down about a pound... but as it turns out I was up .2 which did not make me happy at all, not sure what happened but I spent Sunday making things for this weeks lunches and to have on hand for snacks so hopefully next weekend will be better. Judy: Your party sounds like a blast! I would love to go to one of those! Hope all is well with everyone... have a great day! Princess |
Thanks ladies for the posts i appreciate your concern. Yes i have been having a tough time lately. I am on yet another medication and trying it out. This one takes a while to take effect but I think so far that i am doing ok. Sometimes i wish people could help but really it is a battle with myself. In a couple weeks hopefully i will be able to tell how effective my medecine is. I am trying Wellbutrin and it is also known to help some with cravings so we shall see.
Judy- Thanks for the hug i surely need it sometimes. Bandit - Thanks so much for wanting to help me and be there for me it is truely appreciated and nice to know that someone cares. Princess - I hope that your back will continue to feel better and surgery wont be needed. |

I was up again this week .4# but I know why. Too many extra's and bigger portions on a few yummy things. Back at it today & this week my goal is to weigh/measure & see if that helps. Hope you all are doing well. Have a good Monday. |

Here's :bravo: to all of us. Cherry, hoping the new meds help you with your battles. :hug: :grouphug: Princess, sorry about the scale, but you know you're on the right track and this week's WI will be better. Having those snacks and lunch foods ready will make your week so much easier. I keep coming back to the WW's idea of Pland and Prepare and to me that's still what is the most effective. Since I like so many foods, it is extremely easy for me to eat the wrong stuff if I don't have fruit in the house, etc. So onward and downward for us all! Bandit, yep--those little things add up and then we get a scale reading we don't like. I like your idea of weighing and measuring. For sure this will kick in a nice weight loss. I'm doing okay. This is the longest I've done as far as getting on the :tread: consistently and I think it's helping. I also have found a great very low point supper that you might like. I take a Thomas' Lite Multigrain Eng. Muffin, top it with about a tablespoon of parmesan cheese, and pour any of the Progresso, WW 0 point soups over it. The fiber helps fill me in. I figure the points are only 1-1.5 points for the whole shebang. I can finish my meal with a small apple and save a day where my points had run away (or to be truthful where I ran away with too many points). That gives me a 2-3point dinner and I've used it a couple of times with success. Hope this idea helps. Just eating soup doesn't do it for me because I am hungry minutes later, but the high fiber bread helps a lot. Okay, I'm going to start a new thread. See you on #193!
