JANET, I would dearly love to come to your second reunion and meet you and the rest of our lovely friends, but for one thing, I don't fly and secondly, we are going through a bit of a lean period now and it wouldn't be right if I were to spend that much money on something like that at this time. That is, if I had the money to spend! :^: I am going to ask JOYce to take lots of pictures of everyone so I can see you all again. Aretha Franklin? Wow! That is so neat that you are going to get to see her in person!

Happy Friday to all!
I'm off to WI, another loss, I am confident!
Water aerobics is going fine. It felt especially good yesterday, after taking a 'trip' down a couple of steps to the driveway!

 'Miss Grace" is NOT my name! Lots of aches and pains, but no broken bones this time. ...and the water felt great yesterday.

After WI today I am getting my eyes examined and then heading for my Mom's, a 200 mile trip. She sounds to be doing fine, but I never got to see her over the holidays. My bday is just a week away, so this will be a special time too. She can take me out to lunch tomorrow, which will please her. She was really frustrated over Xmas, because she couldn't get out and 'do things' for anybody. So I promised to come for a Birthday hug. :)
"Talk to you" Monday.
Keep working on those reunion plans!

Good morning, ladies! Happy Saturday! What's everyone (other than Joyce) got planned for the weekend?
Joyce, I hope you have a wonderful visit with your mom! I know you both must be looking forward to it. Happy Birthday! I didn't realize (or I forgot!) that your birthday is in January too. How are the bruises from your fall? I myself am a "super klutz"- I'm always tripping or bumping into something and wearing various bruises I couldn't remember getting due to their frequency!
Janet, I'm not a big Aretha Franklin fan either, but she's got an amazing voice and I understand she puts on a fantastic show! You'll have a great time, I know!! I love Skinny Cow. My favorite grocery store started carrying Skinny Cow- but they went out of business last week, and none of the other stores here sell it. WW makes a similar thing, but I haven't tried it yet.
Linda, I'm sorry you won't be able to do the reunion, but I certainly understand- I'm not sure I'll be able to swing it either- in fact, it's pretty doubtful. But I'm going to try. The flying part I've made myself adjust to in the past few years, but the money doesn't come that easily! Thanks for the congrats on future dgd- I have this overwhelming urge to go out and buy something cute, tiny, pink and frilly! In fact, I probably will before the weekend is over!:D

I moved my computer into my bedroom. It's really convenient having it in here, and I can watch my tv while I'm on the computer, but it has another unexpected benefit- it's a great incentive to maintain my weight loss! I think it's official- if I gain even 5 pounds I doubt if I could walk through my room at this point!!  It looks fine, but there sure isn't any excess floor or wall space! DD moved her computer down to the room where mine had been, because hers was in the room that will be the new baby's nursery.
Did I mention that they moved dd's due date up 2 weeks after her last sonogram? We're up to March 4th now.
No special weekend plans here. I went to Trader Joe's yesterday after work, and that was about the only thing I had planned. I'm working mega-hour days and weeks for the next 3 months due to a nurse shortage in our office till April, so I plan to try to take it easy on the weekends as much as possible. My one knee is already swollen and painful and I've only done the 12 hour days for a less than a week. I'll do a little sweetie watching I'm sure, but that's about it. With exdh here too it makes things less hectic and less stressful so I can relax more. (I know that doesn't make sense, but it's too complicated to explain).
Anyhow, gotta run for now. Hi to everyone, and have a great weekend.
Carol

JANET, have you had a chance to get something frilly, pink cute and tiny? What fun it would be to go shopping for your Miss sweetie to be. Sorry about your knee hurting, I hope that you feel better by the time you go back to work. And I'm glad that you have your computer in your room, now; that's better than having to go back and forth between your room and your computer. What treasures did you find at TJ's?

Dh and I are working around the yard/house this weekend. Of course, tomorrow being Sunday we will watch the playoffs, so it will be truly a day of rest. :)

We're on page 2- I'll start a new thread
