JENNY, aren't grandchildren wonderful. I have four of them now, they are eight, three (tomorrow), five months and two weeks old. Nicholas is my heart (eight year old), his mom was fifteen when she had him and her life has been one turmoil after another. My ex husband and I shared in his raising from ages 5 - 7 (his mother, my daughter was in jail). He is so bright, he has made the A & B honor role the last two report cards. Caylin is my little Miss Pris, she is all girl!!

Computers are wonderful with children. Nicholas has tons of educational CD's, I let him on the computer sometimes. I only let him online if I'm in the room with him. I've bought Caylin (3 year old) a toddler CD, but she isn't to intrigued with the computer yet.

ES, are you following weight watchers on your own. I did that for a week, but decided to go back to weight watchers for the weigh ins. There is just something about the accountablility of stepping on that scale every week!! It is also neat to hear everyone elses successes. Our leader is really good about having us announce our weight losses, so that helps keep me motivated. This site and the friends I've made hear also provide me with tons of motivation, with the two working together I can't help but LOSE!!!

DIANNE, you are making the right decision to stay distant from this woman. It is not worth the stress to be aggravated by someone like that. Put it in God's hands and you and your husband have a safe and wonderful trip to FLORIDA.

I am still here in Ohio. We will be going back to Al. in the morning.

I read a little of the thread and will read all of it once I get home but I have to just say something to Dianne. I am so sorry about all of that mess with Christian's mom. It is best to avoid a person like that but when kids are involved I know it is a lot harder. That was a shame. Seems the whole family grew up that way.
