Whole foods eating can be so simple.

re: Potatoes, I pretty much stick to sweet potatoes (the real ones, they are yellow inside) or yams if it is all I can find and roast them or oven "fry".

Breakfast, alternate with oatmeal (I splurge on the Irish Old Fashioned - creamier), oat bran, egg white omelets w/ veggies, or stir fried veggies on the weekends (last one is a little odd I know - Like JOYOFSIX I like leftovers too).

Whole Wheat Bread from the bakery, I have to slice it but love it.

Also, try Trader Joe's, I find lots of things to try there for example: (some stores carry different things)
Whole Wheat couscous
Whole Wheat english muffins
and of course the Low Fat feta cheese or any low fat cheese.
I use the TJ's whole grain tortilla made with flax seed and whole wheat, tasty to me with some beans, veggies and salsa.
don't forget their frozen food section for convenience and emergency
choices.
