Default Whole Foods Menu 11/2

Hmm, usually I stick pretty close to plan because it's based on what is in the house that I can eat. I really don't have too much problem avoiding the kids' sweets. My problem seems to be when people are offerring me things in hospitality.

B-oatmeal, flax seed, raisins, honey
L-french onion soup, vegetable omelet, oranges
S-almonds and blueberries
D-tilapia, stir fry, brown rice
S-raspberries, dark chocolate, tea

Funny, I can turn down other people's offerings quite easily. What gets me is that I can turn even the most mundane ingredients in the house into something hideously bad for me, which is what I did last night. But I'm back on track today!

B- Awesome Acai smoothie (acai fruit, raspberries, bananas, raspberry sherbet, non-fat yogurt, with whey protein and supplements) & a 1oz. wheatgrass shot
L- Caeser salad with chicken
S- Kashi granola bar
D- eating out with best friend - aiming for fish!

My big problem is events at work with food - all those tasty finger foods. Oh well, real life is being flexible. Just try to follow the one plate rule!

I'm currently whitening my teeth since I'm getting a porcelain veneer on my top front tooth to replace a discolored fill from childhood. I am banned from coffee/tea for the duration of the treatment No coffee!!

B - 2 pieces of organic, sprouted, 20 grain bread, natural peanut butter

S - plain, non fat yogurt, 1/2 carton sliced strawberries

L - big salad, greens, chicken breast, chickpeas, tomatoes, onions, broccoli, carrots, onions, zucchini, sesame seeds, dressing on side

S - 1/2 huge pomegranate

S - cut up veggies - grape tomatoes, carrots, sugar snap peas, red pepper strips

D - quesadilla - 2 whole wheat tortillas, quinoa, sweet potato, spinach, black beans, a little low fat cheese, topped with tons of salsa
