Clif Nectar Bars

I found the greatest tasting bar at Trader Joe's yesterday. Nectar Bars by Clif Bar, specifically the dark chocolate and walnut flavor.

Ingredients: Organic Dates, Organic Walnuts, Organic Unsweetened Chocolate, Organic Cocoa, Organic Vanilla.

Nutrition facts include: 160 calories, 6g fat incl 1.5 sat fat, 27 g carb incl 6 g fiber and 3 g protein.

Tastes wonderful and looks like a great snack all around.

Mmmmm. Guess what I'll be looking for at TJ's this weekend!!

Sounds good. I need something to alternate my beloved pria bars with.

I used to buy the Pria carb bars at Costco, and they don't carry them anymore. It's getting hard to find them anywhere. They have the regular Pria bars, and they're okay, but we like the carb bars. Any suggestions as to alternatives for those?

Okay, I tried both the varieties that I found at TJ's. The dark chocolate walnut was like eating a brownie, but with a fruitiness to it. Not dry at all (like some brownie type protein bars). Very yummy. The lemon kind reminded me of eating fruitcake (which I LOVE). I'll buy these again!

I checked a few stores this weekend and didn't find that kind. I'm going to Minnesota and Illinois this weekend and am going to make it a point to find a TJs. They sound so good!

We have a Whole Foods here, so tomorrow I'll check there. I never thought of it ...

THANKS!

Well, I see that there are 4 varieties. TJ's only had two.....I'll have to search for the other flavors!
