Default Whole Foods Menu 09/26/06

Had a bit of a pick today at foods that I should not be eating ... we're having a 'Multi Cultural Week' at school, and today some of the kids were making foods from around the world ... lots of it found it's way into the staff room at lunch time and I just couldn't stop myself!! I wish I had more self control!

Breakfast
Muesli with skimmed milk
Snack
Pear
Lunch
Salad of Mixed Greens (including spinach ... sorry girls we don't have a problem with it here in HK ... if I could send you some over I would! ), with Roast peppers & Cottage Cheese
Snack
Extras in the staff room
Dinner
Homemade Spanish Chicken with Rice & Veg

l--1 c. ww rotini, diced tomato w/ basil, oregano and garlic, 3 grilled chicken tenders
d--the rest of the chicken and mixed veggies probably w/ couscous

I'm glad to be back on track after some days last week of wild eating. I have to get this stress thing under control. So, two days of exercise down as well.

I'm so stoked--I've made my September goal of a 4 pound loss with a few days to spare!!! All this with a long weekend vacation!

I heard on the news that some areas outside of California are putting bagged spinach back on the shelves (obviously spinach from other than California). I'm so jealous!!!

B--strawberries and blackberries
S--yogurt
L--baby romaine salad with pomegranate arils, pecans, blue cheese, chicken and raspberry vinegarette
S--nuts
D--big salad of romaine, black beans, orange pepper, corn, tomatoes, chicken and green onions

Here's planning for a better day....

B:
2 scrambled eggs (dry, i.e. no oil in pan), 1/2 ww bagel w/natural pb, tomato (we're drowning in them ),

S:
apple, lf cheese

L: depends. I have to go home to meet the DTV installation guy. If I'm home at lunch, it'll be a salad; if he hasn't called, hmmm, probably a salad from the grocery store! They're supposed to call by noon which is why my plan is to eat at home.

S:
tomato or hb egg or cantalope or lf cottage cheese

D:
the postponed-from-yesterday chicken stir fry over brown rice
