Default I'm reading the book Super Health

The book is written by Stephen Pratt. It talks about "super foods" and how your body benefits from them. It gives you gradual changes to make over a 6 week period. Anyone ever read this book? I am excited to make some much needed changes to my eating habits. I am or I should say was bad about eating a lot of processed foods and I would also rarely eat breakfast or lunch. I feel so tired and sluggish all of the time. With the help of this book and this forum I hope to improve my eating habits and lose some weight. I am currently 5'6 " tall and weigh 179 (size 14 jeans) and want to drop to 130-140.

See if you can find posts by Glory87. She introduced a bunch of us to that book. It is good!

Thanks, I'll go find those posts now. BTW I like that it is called clean eating. It makes it sound refreshing and challenging in a fun way.

seems like a really good book, I try to eat as healthy and natural as possible, but my family often makes it hard, and I do feel sluggish a lot

I'll try to look for it, I do have a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card

I don't know about this latest book, but I read the original SuperFoods Rx after seeing Glory87's recommendations. It is a great, easy way to eat healthy. If you fit in something from each of the categories every day, it is hard to find room for the other stuff. I use it along with South Beach. Really, when I eat by the SuperFood standards, I feel so good...

Check out the sticky for the list from the older books.

Enjoy!
