Default harlequin squash?

I picked one of these up at the supermarket today but I have never cooked with one. It just looked so pretty

Has anybody cooked one? Should it be more or less treated like a butternut?

I believe they are more like an acorn squash which is my favorite so hopefully it is good! Let us know!

ETA: I usually halve them, scoop out the seeds, place in a dish of water, cover with plastic wrap and microwave until tender. Salt and pepper as needed when done. In the past, a little butter inside tasted good.

Thanks. I think it looks more like an acorn squash so I will go look for recipes and try it out in the next few days
