There was this eggplant dip on the menu at a great Persian restaurant I used to go to. I wish I had asked for the recipe. It wasn't the same as baba gannouj though. They called it eggplant delight and I think it had cinnamon and roasted tomatoes (?). It was pureed, so it was hard to tell. It was amazing stuff! Anyone have any idea what it might be called? Or where I can find a recipe? I kick myself now for never bugging the owners to tell me what was in it.
