I thought about starting a new thread.. but I'm a newbie so I felt that maybe I shouldn't. Anyway.. todays food...

B - 3 chocolate cookies (at my work! I had no time to eat breakfast so I eat what was available)

L - Turkey, potatoes au gratin, veggies

D - Fresh pineapple (This was meant to be a snack but I ate half of the pineapple and now my tongue is practically bleeding from all the acid. I really don't feel like eating anything else today )

S - 2 chocolate desserts. I know they are about 300 calories - EACH!

One of the worst days food-wise I've had in a long time. Probably because I missed my breakfast and had no good food available when I had time to sit down.

Ugh - will this stinking cold EVER go away?? I feel like I'm living underwater! I haven't felt like eating much, but have still been making an effort to get a lot of healthy stuff in.

Breakfast - 1 slice whole grain toast with natural peanut butter
Snack - smoothie made with strawberries, a banana, fresh OJ and some plain yogurt
Lunch - turkey soup and an orange
Snack - just a cup of tea with honey and lemon
Dinner - DH is making a chicken/veggie stir fry with rice - loads of peppers, onions, broccoli, carrots, snap peas, bean sprouts, mushrooms, zucchini, etc.

That'll probably be it, with maybe another cup of tea before bed.

  • cookies (I may need to install an electric fence around the free food cabinet at work )
  • Kashi oatmeal
  • leftover pasta w/tomato sauce
  • whole wheat wrap w/avocado, lettuce, cucumber, and hummus
  • Lean Cuisine - lemongrass chicken
  • dinner will be out--we've agreed to limit our eating out to once a week, and tonight's the night
I'll only eat 2 of those 3 lunches (the wrap, the Lean Cuisine, the pasta), but I'm not sure which yet.

heh, I wish that whole accountability thing worked well for me. I ended up going out to lunch with a co-worker--not because I didn't bring food or because I had planned to, but because we both just needed to GET OUT of the office and do some dishing where no one could hear us I got a grilled chicken sandwich, no mayo, and pulled off half the bacon, so it could have been worse.

I just can't get back into my zone. It was like just as easily as it had happened (I just woke up one day and became a perfect angel in regard to food and exercise), it flew away. And, of course, it only took me a few weeks to gain what I had lost in a few MONTHS

My pants keep me accountable Yesterday I had major munchies but I controlled it pretty well. I'm trying to be a perfect angel because I oh so want to be in the low 200s and below 200 I know I can't be entirely perfect but I can be pretty close.

Tha pants that it was my goal I'd be in by september are actually starting to fit. I can button them now. If I can get to a good weight before July, I can go shopping with my mom when I go visit. In september, I'm going to a meeting where I will see people I haven't seen in a long time so it'd be good to lose by then. I'm also just tired of feeling as I was in a holding pattern, looking good to myself but fat to the rest of the world.

I just tried this idea--measured out my hot whole wheat pasta and tomato sauce over the spinach. It was a fantastic combo, with the spinach wilting nicely. I never would have thought of that in a million years, and it was wonderful. Thanks!
