Welcome

Hi nojelly and :wel3fc: Hope you'll stick around.

I would suggest reading the sticky at the top of the forum called What are whole foods and then joining the exercise challenge sticky also at the top of the forum. Eating correctly is a big part of getting healthier, but exercise is a must.. even if it is just walking for a few minutes to start. We all have to start someplace.

Check out the recipes in the sub forums for Sonoma and the Medieterranean diet for some recipe ideas!

I am new on here too! :welcome2:

I agree the the stickys are very helpful. There is also a thread on which books are the favorites around here. You might want to check that out too.

Welcome!!!

For a lot of us, whole foods and the SuperFoods Rx are synonymous. We've cut out processed foods (we don't eat things with ingredients that say "enriched" or "hydrogenated"). We prefer whole grains over white, brown rice over white, an apple over applesauce. Basically, eat it as close to what nature provided and you're better off.
