Smoothies!

Can anybody give me any quick smoothie recipes?
I'm looking for the highest protein and fiber content as I can get for under 450 calories.

Please answer quick, I'm planning on having this tomorrow for breakfast!

I have a smoothie every morning for breakfast.

This morning I had a smoothie (this is lower cal):
1 cup soymilk
1cup frozen pineapple (because it's really sweet)
1/2c frozen blueberries
1 whole fresh tangerine (seedless)
1 tblsp ground flaxseed
(blend in a blender w/extra water as needed)

Here's another staple smoothie for me:
1/2cup juice like Superfoods green juice or Citrus C Monster or pomegranate juice
1 scoop WholeFoods brand soy protein powder w/spirulina (vanilla)
1/2cup plain sugar free lowfat or fatfree organic yogurt
1/2 to 1cup frozen blueberries
1/2 to 1cup of any other fruit you have (like frozen pineapple, mango, strawberries, mixed berries, etc.)
1 tsp flax seed oil or 1tblsp ground flaxseed
honey

Pretty much any frozen fruit is good in a smoothie. I try to make sure I use fruit w/vitamin C, vitamin A, & some berries. I don't like bananas but they make creamy smoothies.

Happy smoothie making! Yum!

I had a smoothie yesterday which was fantastic - 1 apple, 1/2 beetroot, 1/2 cucumber and a handful of spinach :T They called it an "iron booster" I suppose you'd need to put it in a proper juicer rather than just a blender.

My usual smoothies consist of any protein powder I have to hand, then a banana to take away the chalky chemical taste and any other fruit. Usually just the banana but sometimes I put cocoa in, or strawberries or cherries or tropical fruits :T

Hi,
Mix Nature's Plus Spiru-tein Soy protein Powder with Silk Light Soy milk and the fruit combination of your choice I prefer fresh strawberries and bananas and crushed ice.
No High fructose corn syrup ( which is garbage to your health)
Lots of soy milk has the HFCS and lots of protein powders, read labels.

Well, this is a little late for today, but try it some other time.

1c unsweetened vanilla soy milk (Westsoy, organic)
1 frozen banana
2Tbl natural raw almond butter
2Tbl carob powder
1Tbl ground flax seed
1/2 scoop of whey protein isolate
A few shakes of ground cinnamon
2 packs of stevia
Ice to desired texture

This wouldn't be considered low fat or a breakfast smoothie, but I love it as a treat meal later in the day. It's really good when I'm craving ice cream or something "junky". Comes out like Frosty. It's counted as part of my allowed good fat for the day so no problem for me. You can leave out some of the almond butter to lower the calories and fat. :D

I would think its ok if you have HFCS in moderation. I love smoothies but i never have them because i can never remember to buy the ingredients at the grocery store.
