Default I just ordered the SuperFoods book!

I'm really excited to read this. It should be here in a few days, since I got expedited shipping. I ordered the new one that came out in 2006, not the older one. Has anyone read both? Any opinions on if one is better than the other? I know that in the new one they added a few more foods to thier list, so I got that one.

Thanks in advance!

I have them both. The original book has the 14 original superfoods and good explanations as to why they are super. The new one adds a handful of new superfoods and kind of gives a short synopsis of the original superfoods in the new book. I actually liked the original book a lot more.

I have both books and I liked the first original SuperFoods better too. Although I gave my copy to someone as a last minute Christmas gift so I'd like to get another copy.

Happy reading. It's inspiring.

I definitely preferred the first book. I got the second book out of the library and photocopied all the good recipes!

I was wondering if Superfoods Rx is the one to get. There is another Superfoods one by Pratt, but I think the Rx one is the first one? What I have been reading the first book is the one to get.

There are 2 books - Super Foods Rx is the first book with the original 14 super foods (oats, pumpkin, beans, blueberries, tomato, spinach, tofu, turkey, walnuts, yogurt, oranges, tea, salmon, broccoli). Super Foods Healthstyle is the second book. The second book adds additional super foods (pomegranate, apples, honey, olive oil, kiwi, spices, onions, garlic and some others) and discusses other health tips besides diets (exercise, meditation, etc).

I found the second book extremely repetitive since it also repeats the original super foods. I bought the first book in hardcover and still refer to it often. I checked the second book out of the library and photocopied all the good recipes.
