Back from the GABF
 

Great American Beer Fest, that is. There were about 1600 different beers for me to sample over four sessions (three days), and boy, did I try :hat:! I had planned to journal while out of town, but that didn't hold for long. However, I didn't stuff myself either and came back with only 1 extra pound. Of course, had I not gone, I'd have lost during that time, but oh well. It was worth seeing the family and trying all that tasty beer ;) . But, next time I will strive to do better on the journaling front.

I did get in a bit of exercise. DH and I did an 8 mile hike in Steamboat Springs, CO, and we tried hiking up Chief Mountain (has an 11,000 foot summit, but you start at 10,000 feet) in our tennies in the snow. I don't recommend that one, it was scary coming down :( . And our hotel was a little bit away from the festivities so there was walking to and from every day. I'm sure that's why I didn't return home with the usual 3 to 5 lb gain.

But, I'm glad to be back and OP. Now I'm heading out for my walk.
