Im New To This... What Am I Doing Wrong???

SO I AM STARTING WEIGHT WATCHERS FOR MY FIRST TIME ON WENDSDAY!! SO TONIGHT I WENT TO THE GROCERY STORE TO KINDA "TEST" SOME THINGS OUT AS FAR AS POINTS GO. I WAS LOOKING AT THE RICHFOOD FAT FREE YOGURT AND AT THE END OF THE FORMULA I COME UP WITH THE NUMBER OF .08..... SO MY QUESTION IS ---> AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?? DO I ROUND UP?? HOW MANY POINTS IS IT?? THERE IS ONLY 90 CALORIES AND NO FAT AND NO FIBER. SO WOULD THIS BE 1 POINT? I MAY HAVE WROTE THE FORMULA DOWN WRONG THO, I WAS DOING THIS---

TOTAL CALORIES / 50 + TOTAL FAT / 12 - FIBER / 5...

I UNDERSTAND THE FORMULA FOR DOING EXERCISE POINTS, BUT I AM NOT SURE I AM DOING THIS RIGHT. PLEASE HELP!!

THANKS:dizzy:

Mmmm, I don't remember the formula, but you can figure about 50 calories per point. With no fiber to offset, that yogurt would come in at 2 points. Fat grams also effect the # of points, however, so you do need to watch that, too. There is a websight that you can plug the info in to and it will tell you the points. If you PM me, I'll give the the address. Good luck!

That is right Tina. Just round up to the next point or half point.

Are you going to a meeting on Wednesday? They will give you a slide which will do the calculations for you and in your 3rd week, you'll get an exercise slide for activity points.

boaterswife 09-26-2006 12:26 PM

EEK! Sorry! I must have it set up incorrectly. Let me see if I can fix it so you can try again!!

boaterswife 09-26-2006 12:29 PM

AHA! I think I fixed it.....during a mental block I thought I had to check the box if I wanted to BLOCK pm's, which of course I didn't, so I hadn't checked the box.

PM me whenever you need to!
