Rejoined WW this week

Hi. I have been around 3FC for years now and my weight has gone up and down over those years. I am determined to lose this weight once and for all. The biggest thing that works for me is being organized and tracking my eating so I decided to rejoin WW. I tried about 2 years ago to join, but my son was only 2 1/2 then and he just couldn't sit still and wanted to talk to me the whole time. Now he is nearly 5 and he knows how to sit and whisper and he's happy to practice writing his name and drawing pictures so I thought it was time to try the meetings again.

I weighed in Monday at 247 and today I am at 242. I am hoping to maintain that loss until weigh in day on Monday. I have been tracking my points deligently this time and making healthy choices.

I hope to get to know some of you here. Right now I actively participate in the Teachers Support Group, but I thought I would join here too now that I am back on the WW program.

Hello I am Wendy and I am also getting back to Weight Watchers. I went to a meeting last Wednesday. but I did not join..IT was a WW @ Work, I didnt have enough cash after paying bills last week. But I will join this week. I have however been on plan this week. I started at 225.8 on Thursday morning...Today I was 223.6..working on getting even more later this week.

I am doing flex but eating core foods. I dont do well eating core alone because I tend to over eat...so weighing and measureing everything is key for me.

I may not get much cardio in this week, it is going to be a crazy week. My work schedule will be totally messed up this week between, Daisy Scouts, WW Meeting, Open House at school and my boss going away for the weekend. I just wont have time...Hopefully, I can get 3 days. I normally do 5 days.

But I am here for the long haul...now kids are in school, I will have more time to do what I need to do.

I have about 75 pounds to lose. I am will get to goal before I turn 38!!!!
(I am 36 years old, turning 37 in March...I am not sure I will get to goal before then...That is 6 months but I only lose 1 pound a week usually)

Bitzy...I have fixed that problem in my family...Left Overs....I serve my 4 year old on small plates...when she is done, she takes care of her own plate...As do my older 2 when they are here. Even to the point of putting them in the dish washer. No more left overs for me to be tempted by.

Melody, I am in the process of getting finger printed for working at our local school. I will be on the sub list...With plans to get certified as an Assistant. I know it is not teaching exactly but it is a great rewarding job.

Glad to meet you all..

Have a nice night!

Wendy

Good for You WENDY.

Good morning Bitzy and Melody.

I have had a slow week I have only lost 1 lb. I am sure that it is because of my not being able to walk. But my knee seems to be getting better. I am still exercising. I am staying within my points and I know it will happen.

Bitzy 09-25-2006 08:49 AM

Scalewatcher, I LOVE losing 1 pound. As a baker, I can take a POUND of Butter and look at it and try to figure out where I lost it!!!! One pound is huge! :carrot:
My weigh in is tomorrow and I hope to have lost some butter!!:encore:
By the end of the year I hope to have lost a case of butter!!!:dizzy:

ok, I am down to 223.0 today...I am excited....

It should have been more though. I was snacking uncontrollably last night. I ended up using all my flex points and probably more, I did not keep track. I know I should have. But I ate it before stuff before I was able to recognize what I was doing. by then it was too late to measure.
Fortunately, My metabolism is really burning.
I did not get any exercise in today. I almost knew I wouldnt.

Next Monday, I wll be able to walk because my daughter (age 4) decided tonight that she does not want me to stay with her during her Daisy Scout Meeting. Which is ok. I will just walk for that hour. It is sad, she doesnt want me there but It is ok.

Well I have to go to bed. I have to be up early to go get blood tests and get my fingerprinting done...

Talk to you later!
Wendy

Well got to go to bed. I took Nyquil because I feel like I got hit by a bus. It started as a head cold today but then as the day went by, I got sicker and felt worse..so I am going to bed early.

Good night!

Hey guys! Not only did I rejoin the meetings yesterday and found that I had hit 241 for the first time in as long as I could remember but tonight, I took a friend to a meeting and she signed up! YAY!

Great Job Sunshine Daisy and Jasonslea - keep up the good work.

I've joined WW enough times that I truly lost count. I'm a rejoiner too. I believe in this program and it's the only one that I've been able to make work for me. I'm excited about a restart and truly believe that this is the time that I will make goal.

Good luck and keep coming to the board for any support you need

I'm a lifetimer trying to get back down to lifetime goal again. I have about 16 lbs to get there. What bad is I'll go every week for a while then I'll only go once a month (lifetime has to get weighed in at least once a month) then I just won't go and try to do it on my own (neve works) So, I'm getting back on the wagon too.

Good to know We're all in the same boat :o)
