Return after loooong haitus

  • A long time ago I used to post to this board. I found it incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. I had great success, but alas, have since lost my way. I slowly regained weight I had lost, with the last bit coming on furiously during a student teaching and first year teaching stint.

I am finally ready to get back on track and have been doing well for about a week now using WW and exercising. But I miss the great support I once had and that I know I can find here again. I'm looking forward to getting to know this "new" group and giving and receiving help on this journey.

  • Hi! I am returning too, and really need support as well. Please feel free to reach out in a PM anytime you'd like...We can do this! This forum can help!
  • Count me in as well! I moved in June and I knew those few weeks of actually getting out here and settled would be difficult. What I didn't count on was that I would still be trying to get it back together in September! Or the 10 pounds I've put on since then. Feel free to pm me too, I could use all the support I can get.
  • Yogini & Happy - ditto to you guys on the PM thing. Thanks for the welcome

Happy, get back on track IMMEDIATELY. Here's my story. I lost about 65 pounds on WW when I lived in Denver and was still going full steam. I'd finally gotten below the 200 lb. mark for the first time in at least a decade or more. Then we moved to Bend, OR and I never was able to get back OP. This is probably the first time I've had any kind of sustained effort since we moved - OVER THREE YEARS AGO! I gained almost 100 pounds in that time and my body even has a new set point. It now likes being in the 290s, which is a number I thought I'd NEVER see. So get back on track girl.
