Palm Pilot Weightloss log

Hi I just got wireless Palm VIIx and I love it. But I need some software for
it. Like a some kind of Weightlog program that I can enter my weekly
weight loss into. Also some WW journals, point calculators, dattbases (WW
companion and restaurant guides) Please respond especially about weightloss
log. I have not gotten any responses back for this and that is why I got the
Palm. Must be not very many ww'ers that use Palms. I thot I would use it
because you can take your journal anywhere. Thot I'd quit paying WW online
for something I can carry with me. Thanx to all who respond ladybugplus

Stone Age WW

ladyBugPlus,

Congratulations on your new techno toy! You will find it is GREAT. Unfortunately, WW doesn't really plan for the future very well. In 1999 I asked Weight Watchers if there were any plans for them to release a Palm tracking program. They had no idea what a Palm is; they kept trying to sell me their little keychain calculator thingie. I've switched to a new WOE so I don't use WW tracking anymore, so I quit trying to get them into the 21st century.

There are some smart folks out there who have made their own programs, good luck finding them. One would hope that WW online would have something. Maybe if you look as far back as you can on the WW threads you might find some of these people; I think they had a thread about it either on the General or the Tools boards? I seem to recall that WW wasn't very happy to find out that people were manipulating "their" tracking materials into an electronic format, so some of them may be reluctant to share.

Try this program on your palm: http://www.whiteoaks.com/wwjournal/ I think you'll like it for the most part. It has its limitations and there are no databases attached to it but it definitely does the job.
I use it in conjunction with list and the databases for it.

Good luck to you on your journey.
