(It was my turn to start the thread this week, I think).

Lovely lunch at the Atlanta Bread Company -- where they had a notebook filled with their nutritional data -- so I was able to easily figure points. Even saved enough for a five point Eclair. Yum!
Total -- 13.5# to date. I'm pleased of course.

Borrowed the dog tonight, though. He was so happy to be walking at night again. My guilt has been eased! Will spend a couple of hours tomorrow on aunt business and then back to regular work. My job at work never looked so good.
Here's hoping that you each have a great OP Tuesday. Cindy
Believe me, the family has called her worse (but never to her face, of course).
Nice going on the walk in the park. What a trooper you are to walk in the chilly rain. Hope that you enjoyed the nice soothing warm bath. Well deserved, I might add. p.s. I also loved your definition of "skinny cow."
Well, enough of my whining. I'm going to get a decent night sleep tonight and start fresh tomorrow morning. Have a good one.
Wa-hoo!
So today will be given over to trying to stop fretting (and avoid agitated eating).

and that is in the right direction!! I have to admit to a little petulance at the small increments - although I did 5.5 in week one, then 1.5 and now 1, but that is maybe how it is going to go with me, and so long as it is down, well, I can learn patience. I am going to eat two less points a day this week and make more effort to be regular with the exercise (inspired by Bunny's hikes! as well as by all you dog walkers!).
). Well done on the 2lbs! Gone for good.
but it seems they are getting it sorted. I am sure you are not up 8 - that would really be going some
. But whatever really - so long as you are on the programme you are eating a good amount, balancing your diet, exercising and drinking water. The numbers can become a tyrant (certainly for me).
!! As Diane pointed out, she is lucky to have you. And as for your food, well this is probably a very steep bit of the mountain you will be climbing with this journey, so go easy on yourself and make sure you forgive yourself any indiscretions - and get back OP. I know you can do it, in spite of all that is being thrown at you right now.
It just goes to show that this thing is not a predictable step by step thing, but an up and down journey - heading down!! Like one of those hikes in the Smokey mountains I keep day dreaming about........

Need to stock up on healthy groceries since I have none at home. Did not get to the store this past week.
I know that I'm a lousy example. Wait, I'm a great example of WHAT NOT TO DO!
Ladies, I have to get back to work. Hope that you have a good OP day. I'll do my best to regain my focus and press on. Cindy
Three scales? That must be a record of some kind! You are doing a great job OP and are making fantastic progress.
I'm glad my walks are inspirational; my husband only wishes tales of your gourmet cookin' inspired me. LOL!
Not gonna happen alas -- I'm not a kitchen-babe. Tomorrow we're off on another mountain trail with picnic in tow. Heaven, I tell you... just heaven.

Happy Wednesday Evening Ladies. Well, went to WI today and am down .5 lb. Wish it was, even just an itty bitty bit more but I'll take it! I was OP all wekand after no loss last week I'm glad to show something this week.Maybe I shouldn't have had that half of a frosted brownie on Monday but I counted it and it was my birthday brownie, candleand all.

For lunch I have packed up a big tupperware full of salad (lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes), and I have some cooked chicken to have with (2.5 points) and a spoon of mango chutney (1pt). I have put it in the fridge in the kitchen here....will it still be there by lunch time??!! Food sometimes disappears from our fridge. We share an office with another voluntary organisation, and we have a lot of volunteers in and out. Also, we have recently had some people in doing decorating who are working out Court Community Service Orders. I think they have a different view of property than I have...
. I dont really mind. But I might have an early lunch....
But sounds like you have found a great lunch place. And the Umbrella Man had me laughing.....in fact he sounded quite spooky, like a character from a children's book. I am not surprised your daughter is afraid of him.
Sorry I've been gone again. Just not very inspired to write, I guess.
My pity party took on half of a second day so yesterday, finally, I feel back 'with it'. I made chicken fettuccini alfredo for the guys and I had a bowl of Taco Soup. Call that dedication! I also had a 1 point bag of popcorn at night with TV instead of my usual 4 points of ice cream....even though someone else decided they WERE going to do the ice cream thing.

I'm on my own today, since my secretary resigned (her mother passed away) and my treasurer is AWOL (her son is in the hospital in a coma and no one knows what he's got so they can't treat him). I have to bring the cake and the paper goods and the decorations and the punch, as well as do up the awards and such. EEEEEEKKKKK!!!
