Laurel: Try not to dwell on the gain but rather look ahead at what you can do to turn things around. A few weeks back I had a gain similar to yours (2.8#) and I've been on a mission to get my weight back down with a little cushion. My ww goal is the goal I chose. I didn't go for a higher one because I knew that if I did I would be more apt to keep my weight at the higher "ww" goal rather than my preferred weight. I've had a dream goal of keeping my weight below 140 and for a while I was able to do it. After 2 years at Lifetime I'm going to work on the last 5#. Good luck! :)
Now, for the weekly weigh in report...I lost the .4 I had gained last week. I'm happy with that as TOM starts this next week. Hope everyone is having a good day! |
I did it. I made my 10 percent! It couldn't be any closer, though. Just lost the 1.6 lbs. I needed. But I did it.

Congrats Myra on making your 10% tonight!! WAY TO GO!! Kudos to you, too, Melissa - maybe we can both make it into the 130s..... Laurel - don't worry about the 2 lbs - part of maintenance are the ups & downs.
I also lost tonight - 1.2 pounds - so that was a nice surprise - I really didn't know what to expect plus I was at a seminar today so wasn't sure what was on the lunch menu. Weigh -in August 22: 142.8 Later, |

Yup, I'm 5'7", too. You & I both seem to want get to a weight range of 137-140. I hope I can do it - I've never been lower that 140.4 while on WW. |
