Default Eating less than 1 point serving?

I'm a little confused, so any help is appreciated.

Today, I'm planning on eating 1/2 cup frozen green peas, now when I look it up, it says that 1 cup of peas is 1 point. I do not want a full cup of peas(that is a lot of freaking peas ) so would I record half a point as my intake, since I'm eating half of what is 1 point?

look on the bag and calculate the points of half the calories, fat and fiber if you want to be exact. It may still be one point, it may be zero. Calculating from the exact calories and stuff is far mroe accurate. It goes for eating more than one serving too. I have icecream that is 2 points per half cup and 5 points per cup.

I hate half points, I like whole numbers, so I would calculate it. Or just say zero. Some peole go down to decimals, so if you don't mind using a half and don't feel like calculating it call it .5
