Hi Meluchi,
Glad you came in and posted. Wow! What a good question.
I think if we knew why we sabotaged ourselves, our weight loss journey would be a lot smoother.
For now, let's get you back on track. Take baby steps, do all you can, don't worry about being *good* but do make smart choices. As you are back on track, keep a good journal. When you know you are not hungry, but are really needing to eat, stop, think about what is going on and write that down. It may be a particular time of day that throws you off. If so, plan a low-point snack for then. It may be a situation that repeats itself in your life, or it may be a certain person who *drives you to eat*. In any case, look at what is happening.
If nothing like that is going on, then look at why you may not want to lose weight. Sometimes we get scared with success, sometimes we subconsciously like the protection of our extra weight around us.
This takes a lot of thought, but I know you can and want to do this. Otherwise you would not have posted.
Good luck. Much success on your journey. Let us know how you do.

I think almost all of us can relate to your setback - I also am my worst enemy however I am trying to change my total way of thinking - I am just taking each day at a time - try to remember this weight loss didn't happen overnight and it wil not go away overnight (boy wouldn't that be nice) keep plugging along and you will get back on track - you have done well in the past so you know it works for you so keep up the good work - maybe you should go to WW and ask your leader to weigh you but not share the results with you - I sometimes think it is a better to not be a slave to that @#@#@@ scale and just go by how you feel - so :D and keep posting to these boards - you will get your results once you are really ready.

MM
P.S. I have two kids and I have bad days - can't even imagine having five :?: and not going over the edge some days!

Hi Meluchi:
I understand what your going through, I started the program in Feburary and made 10 pounds 3 weeks ago on week 15. Since then I have gained two weeks in a row and have fallen back to 7.7 pounds.
Last week I sat down with the new members and went back to understand thing I guess I couldn't of been doing right as no one could fail a program as badly as I was. We sat for 25 mins as I was ready to through in the towel. I now started over, this journey is lifechanging, and we have a fear of accomplishment. I have 90 pounds to shed, no small feat.
I do the same thing... do well all day and then eat the fridge at night, I hate exercise, not sure theirs too many that are over weight who like to move, but you need to take baby steps, the exercise helps to get us healthy and if you have children do it for them, they need their mom.
I do one day at a time. 5 minutes here, 5 minutes there and I try and sit less. When I do sit I have some light handweights by me to arm curls etc, every little bit counts.
When in your heart your ready you will make that commitment for yourself. Just think how good it will feel . Set small goals. One lady told me she started out exercising with the calendar. Todays the 13th so she did 13 mins of exercise, tomorrow is 14 and so on, as she moved to the end of the month she was doing 30-31 minutes a day. Month 2 she worked out everyother day 3-10 min or 2-15 min session of exercise as she said it wasn't so overwhelming to her. I find it has helpped me look forward to a day when I can bend over touch my toes without the grunt or looking like a red beet when you stand back up!
Hang in there, ;) I know you can do what ever YOU set YOUR MIND TO! :)
