Hello all! I was here last week asking about WW and thinking about joining. Well, I went to a meeting, decided to do the Flex Points plan, and LOVE it. The plan is SO easy, and I need the accountability that comes with the food diary and the meetings. I was able to go out this weekend and eat at a restaurant without going off the plan, but still feeling satsified! I think WW might be the solution to my years-long battle with food and my weight. I am still somewhat concerend about losing slowly (so impatient here!), but am understanding more and more that slow is the way to go. Anyway, just wanted to thank everyone again for the advice when I was asking questions, and to let you know that I'm glad to be on board! See you in the smaller sizes!
Kitty, glad to hear you joined and that you're liking it. I felt the same way when I started to. I wanted to loss it all right now but am learning I need to lose it slowly. But that's ok. I've decided if I lose it slowly I'll be more likely to keep it off when I'm done. And that's the big thing for me.
What part of Texas are you from? I'm in Lubbock. Good luck on your weight loss journey. Come back as often as you need encouragment and support. The ladies here are wonderful for that.
Hey Kitty. I just recently joined WW as well. I just had my third weigh in on Sat so technically it was my fourth week. And totally ive lost like 5.8 pds. So really its not all that slow. Which is a good thing for me cause im impatient. I really like WW cause i know i have to get on that scale in front of someone else so i dont wanna embarrass myself by not losing. Plus the meetings are for me excellent motivation to keep going when people clap for you when you lose weight and you get little stickers every time you lose weight. So dont get discourage cause you think its slow weight loss. And besides you didnt get chubby over nite so i cant expect to get skinny overnite as well. Although it would be great if that would happen. Plus they keep saying that you keep the weight off better if you lose it slower. So apparently slow and steady is the way to go. Now if men can get that concept....wait thats a whole nother can of worms LOL
