Help me lose weight by May 4!

Well, that fabulous honeymoon period of dieting is now over and I am having to work for each and every pound. I have been losing and gaining the same three pounds for almost a month now. I know this is my responsibility, because I havent been on program and havent' exercised. I have lots of excuses but I won't bore you with those.

Here's my problem -- I need to lose weight by May 4. What do you suggest? I would like to weigh 120 by then, but that's not realistic, is it?

What can I do to get back on track and really lose weight? What do you do?

I have been playing with the same few pounds too. A friend of mine was doing the same thing also. Well, last week she bukled down and did the program to the T. She lost 4lbs at her weigh-in this week. The prgram works if you work it the way it was meant to be done. We all have things that get in the way. I mean we do have lives after all. I am sure that it you really do what you are supposed to you will lose. Are you doing everything right or are you skimping in a few areas?

What worked for me what just going back and reviewing the program and then working it correctly. You won't loss 67 lbs but May 4 but you should be able to lose between 10 and 15 lbs easily. Well, as easy as can be. IF you do find a way to lose 67lbs in 5 weeks then please feel free to share that info...I've got 81.6 lbs to lose by June 1. ;)

I've had to come to a realization

and that's that since I am now over 50, my weight loss has got to be slow and steady. There's no way around it...my metabolism has slowed down, and I just have to be patient. It's hard when you want it all off NOW, but OTOH, we didn't get here overnight either.

Buckling down -- that's a good idea. For some reason I am ravenously hungry when I buckle down these days. Not a little uncomfortable -- STARVING, obsessed. Maybe I'm at a setpoint or something, it is very odd.

Chrissy, what's your big event on June 1?

What are you eating - if it's a lot of simple carbs, they can trigger hunger.

Do you track you foods or count calories. its always good to see if you are on track with what you are eating.

Fiber and Protein are the key to staying fuller longer.
