We alway have new room for new people in the challenge - so Avsgirly just keep us posted.
I WI on Tuesday am. It has been a crazy week but I hope I lost. We have been car shopping and you know how that is - YUCK
I wish I had the money to walk in and say this is what I want and here is the money - no haggling - no traveling etc.

Official weigh in today: 247 lbs, three lb gain since last time I weighed. :( But I'm okay. Goal is four lbs this week.

I am down 0.2lbs - Hey it is a loss.
I had a rough week - we have been car shpooing - what a pain in the behind. I think a couple days I didn't get at least 20 points and I think that hurts. I have to make sure I get my points at least the minimun.- BECAUSE everything else I did was right - exercise drinking water. etc
This week will be better. I decided on a car last night - pick it up later this week. I do have Stamp Club on Thursday but I get veggies and stuff for that day.

Congrats on the .2 loss Julie. I know it doesn't seem like a lot but it's .2 less than you were. :D I understand the car buying thing. I went through that last week. I finally got through it on Saturday. It was such a relief to me.

Shari, don't worry about the gain. It happens to all of us at some point. The important thing is you don't let it get the better of you and stop all together. And just remember...you may have gains some of it back but you haven't gained all of it back. :)

I am rededicating myself to

1) throwing leftovers in the garbage before I start to nibble
2) water, water, water
3) 20 points a day through Sunday

Today should be easy. The weekend will be tough since we are headed up to a big party at Schweitzer. I want to be able to drink, but I am never going to get away with it and stay under 20 points.

Well, this week I'm suddenly up 2.2lbs. I was fine Wed, then when official weigh in came (Thursday) there is was! Water retention maybe? I have no idea. I'm self diagnosing myself with that since I can't get my wedding ring off and it has been loose until then. I can see my finger is swollen...sigh.

So, what causes this and how do I cope? :?:

Merrygold...I suggest two things 1) check the sodium amounts in the things you're eating/drinking. The higher your sodium intake the more you retain. 2) drink more water. I know this sounds silly but if you're not drinking enough water then you retain it when you do drink it.

These are the two things I do when I notice water retention...hope it helps.

Hey guys well i had my weigh in today. Hit my Easter Challenge today! Was very excited. And i thought it was gonna be a rough week but i was still able to loose a bit. As for weight flucuation tell me about it. On wednesday I was up like 4 pds. LOL but for me its TOM so partially because of that. But i up'd my water intake and worked out a bit more.

I'm gonna take some of your good vibes and use it this week. I had a bad week and actually gained. Not too much just 1.6lbs but still it's 1.6lbs I didn't want to gain. :( Oh well...I know it's my fault and even though I want to blame it on TOM I can only use that a little. I didn't do what I needed to do last week. HOWEVER...i'm determined to do it this week. My goal for the week is...

1) journal...journal...and journal some more... I slacked o n that this week and it shows....i journaled some here online but I need to do it on paper too.
2) exercise at least 210 minutes this week. That breaks down to 30 minutes each day IF i'm able to do it. But this way I won't feel bad on the two days I know I won't be able to exercise.
3) water...water...and more water...I usually do good on this one but for some reason the last two days I didn't do as well as I should have. My goal is to have at least 100 oz of water a day.

I had WI this morning. I lost 2.2 lbs for a total of 53.8 lbs.
Getting within 10lbs of my goal now

I lost, but probably not enough to make 10# by Easter. Oh, well. If I am a good girl I may get out of the 190's by next week.
