question about meat

ok so meat is never listed by the cup or by spoon fulls when determining points, it's always by ounces or or grams. & honestly i have no idea how much 100 grams of chicken is or 6 oz of steak. is there a rule of thumb or something? like 6 oz is the size of a deck cards? something like that?

4 oz of protein is the size of palm minus your fingers:)

It gets you close but your best bet is to spend the $3-30 and get a scale. You can get an analog one at the grocery store for between $3-5 and a good digital one about $30.

You'll find it indespensible.

BTW it is 3 oz that is about the size of a deck of cards or the average woman's palm. ;) That is right out of the book let and the website.

I absolutely love my Weight Watchers digital scale. Not only does it simply weigh foods, you can put your dinner plate or a bowl on the scale and set it to zero each time you add a new food to the dish.

It was a bit pricey though, around $30.00 if I remember correctly. Though I did fine with my scale from Walmart before that (which was like $7.00)
