Anyone combining plans?

Hi everyone,

I have done ww several times in my life. I just started again last week. This time around I am using points and the theory of eating every few hours. Breakfast within an hour of waking, then roughly every three hours. I have found that I am not ever ravenous hungry. I lost 7 pounds the first week...I am really curious if any one else is doing this or another type of combining plans and how it is working for you....Kat

Well I don't consider that really a 'second' diet program. The eating every few hours has been around for years and years and years.

I do the same thing...I eat breakfast, midmorning snack, lunch, midafternoon snack, dinner and evening snack.

However I do a combo plan. I do CLEX or FLORE. What I need is the structure of portion control (FLEX) but I also want to eat healthy so I tend to stick with those foods denoted as Core foods as much as possible with the occasional treat.

One of my friends is combining SBD Phase 2 with Points....

I combine SBD and WW too - I find I gain if I eat carbs for dinner every night and either lose or maintain if I substitute an extra serving of vegetables for the carbs and/or limit potatoes, rice or pasta to once per week.

I also limit bread and when I do eat it I go for whole wheat or wholegrain. I guess it's a bit like the Core plan but with some different options.

SBD is great for me since I avoided eating processed foods anyway so the two plans were a good fit for me.

I'm doing The Biggest Loser diet except counting points instead of calories, I already know the points and it keeps my fat content under control as well.
