Newbie

Hello everyone! My name is Shannon (32) mom to Jordan (5) and wife to Brian (32) for almost 6 years. I did not start a battle with my weight till I was grown. But once I started it never stopped. I have tired all kinds of diets and even WW several times. I never stick to anything and never loose very much. However I have reached that point. I am tired of not being able to keep up with my very active 5 year old. Last week I went out for drinks with my sister and some co-workers. There was several pictures taken. When I got them I wanted to cry. I am so tired of being the fat one. I am tired of worrying if I am going to fit into a chair. Not being able to do active thing I want with fear I will not be able to keep up. So times are a changing. I am going to start WW tomorrow. However I am going to wait till the first of October to actually join a meeting. Just because of my schedule for the next few weeks. I have all the materials and know the program. Now it is just doing it and keep moving. I weight 255 and would like to be at about 155. Look forward to getting to know everyone and taking this journey together.

hi there, i'm new too, i only joined today.

my name is jo, i'm married to rob, and we have been together for 3.5 years, we have 1 son, jacob who is 22 months, and 1 daoughter jessica, who is 10 months.

i have battled with my weight since i was 18 years old, as i developed cysts on my overies, which at the age of 21 they were treating me for cancer (which i didn't have yet!), they had me on sterroids, and i swelled in weight.

i'm so glad that there is a website for people to join and talk about these things, and also help support each other, well done 3ft, you are wonderful women,

Howdy ladies, and welcome!!

Feel free to post on the upcoming September thread. And read the August thread to get acquainted with our group.

You will find that your experiences are familiar to us all. Feel free to ask questions. Someone here has probably done it, seen it, lived thru it. :)
