lala, I'm glad your mother is doing well. Yes, that machine they use is really different, but it's necessary to avoid scar tissue.

Pam, 70's--wow, that must be nice. It will be 90 here today. Golf tonight, have you been golfing lately? On Saturday, my GF and I are headed out shopping to another large city nearby. I also need to work on my lines.

I'm happy for my mom too. She was pretty depressed yesterday when I got there and in pain. However, something must have left her body because in a matter of 10 minutes she felt way better and was much more herself. How did I know? She asked for her cell phone so that she could call some people. That I take as a good sign as she is the cingular posterchild for the 1200 minute plan. :)

Pam -- those are my kind of temperatures too.

Lisa -- no big plans here. I am hoping to leave on Sunday am so that I may have a bit of a life at home before going back to the office. I am hoping to get to the gym, do some laundry, weeding and watering. Very exciting. Tomorrow, I think I'll be visiting with mom and sitting in the sun with a good book.

I hope Melissa is having a nice vacation.

Lala I'm reading the Devil Wears Prada. All I can say is unbelievable. I did laugh when I read that the character in the book, Andrea lives in Avon CT. Avon is s rather small upscale suburb of Hartford. Lauren's oral surgeon's office is there so we've been visiting that community often!
