A VOW TO NEVER "GET OLD"
 

Happily celebrating another b/day (48) :hb: :hb: and have had a very stressful week with work, home and the business my DH and I own

Was feeling sorry for myself and having a regular "pity party" last night not so much for being 48 as much as feeling like I was going backwards and not where I "thought" I should be at this age :stress: :stress: :stress:

Heard today about a friend age 51 that passed away yesterday of a brain tumor. :( :( :( :(
Had a talk last night with a dear SIL that had broke her hip in Dec and still on the mend

She said she will never let herself "feel" old as in her mind she "has been to age 80 and back and it is not going to happen again"!!!

Really opened my eyes again about my attitude towards age
So I will just go home today and appreciate what I do have, what I have accomplished and "where" I am at right now :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

Yep! When you see what others go through sometimes your lot isn't so bad.

When I start to feel down about stuff I remind myself that no matter how bad I think I have it there is probably someone out there in the world who would gladly trade places with me. It puts things into perspective and makes me appreciate what I do have.
