Hi me again! Can someone help me with this? I know, I know, I'm hopeless.
This is the plan Wendy made for me:

POINTS TARGET - 28 (Weigh 225 - 249 lbs)
Day 1 - 28 points Saturday
Day 2 - 33 points Sunday
Day 3 - 29 points Monday
Day 4 - 43 points Super High Day (SHD) Tuesday
Day 5 - 28 points Wednesday
Day 6 - 32 points Thursday
Day 7 - 30 points Friday


I wanted to change it around a bit to make my SHD a day on the weekend and this is what I came up with:

My Version:
Day 1 - 28 points Wednesday
Day 2 - 33 points Thursday
Day 3 - 29 points Friday
Day 4 - 43 points Super High Day (SHD) Saturday
Day 5 - 28 points Sunday
Day 6 - 32 points Monday
Day 7 - 30 points Tuesday


Is my plan okay?

BTW, my WI day is Tuesday

I did the exact same you did. I've only been on the Wendie plan for a week, but I feel that it's working better for me. It made more sense for me to have my SHD on the weekend and also, Saturday is my weigh-in day.

Hi Shari,

In the original post about the Wendie plan it says:
"You should schedule your SHD as FAR away from your weigh in day as possible, due to the fact that you may notice a slight gain the day after your SHD (which WILL go away)". I think that the consensus is that the SHD should be at least three whole days prior to weigh in. You might try it your way and see how it works for you. If you show a gain or very low loss you could always change it up to make Fridays your SHD, unless you want to change your weigh in day.

I'm doing the Wendie plan and its worked wonders. In just three weeks I've lost 10 lbs and I haven't been hungry once! I love it!

Well I put my SHD for Sat because my WI is on Tuesday. Saturday is three days before Tuesday right? Did I do it wrong?

Shari...having your super High day on Saturday should be fine.
Just see how your body reacts. the schedule you made up is fine...

Sure not a problem.... I personally weigh in on Monday Mornings so for me

But Sundays may be a great day to have as a SHD.

If you weigh in any time other then first thing in the morning on Sunday...

But you are right on the edge of changing poitns...So after 1 week of doing Wendie plan you will be in the next catergory....Just write Monday or Sunday next to the Super High day... Day 5 is your next day, Day 6, and 7 follow then go to day 1 as the next day...

Just subtract 2 points from each day.

POINTS TARGET - 24 (Weigh 175 - 199 lbs)

Day 4 - 39 points Super High Day (SHD) Sunday or Monday...
Day 5 - 24 points
Day 6 - 28 points
Day 7 - 26 points
Day 1 - 24 points
Day 2 - 29 points
Day 3 - 25 points

Thanks, for the help. I have been in a slump and hopefully this will help. I have not been eating all my points, I thought that might help me to lose weight faster.

ScaleWatcher...the slump you are experiencing is because You are NOT eating all your points...

Follow Wendie Plan as it is written!!! Dont eat less point or more Points...

You can add APs but it is not necessary if you exercise wisely. Do exercise on SHDs and other higher days...Dont exercise on your SLD (super Low Days). If you must, add only 1/2 your APs that day but use them for protein and veggies.

You need to eat to lose weight...I know that goes against everything you have ever been taught but it is true.

So if you have to go over that is better then being under as long as the food it good food.

I know this works... You will soon find out.

Thanks Wendy I start eating them all. I changed my SHD to Friday, My husband is off on this day and he would like to got out to dinner on this night. I hope I did it correctly. Let me know please so I can stay on the Wendie Plan.

Hello Scalewatcher:

I know what you are going through with the points. I too was very hesitant to eat all that food.

I actually eat a lot more, and more frequently since I have been using the Wendy Plan.

I too, am tempted not to eat all my points. And truthfully, some days I don't get them all eaten. I think it is my stubborn brain telling me this can't be right, don't eat all that food. However, it is right and it continues to show up on the scale.

I have had a few stalls on the weight loss, but I think it is my metabolism. I lose two pounds one week and then maintain for two weeks. Then it repeats. Overall, I lose on average 4 lbs. a month and that is okay. In the beginning, I lost more rapidly. But we soon find out that isn't very good for our bodies.

For one thing, our skin needs to keep up with the loss. Losing too fast results in sagging skin.

Cate, Thanks for the encouragement. I am going to try to eat them all and see how it works for me. I have a very slow metabolisim (hypothyroid & multi-nodule goiter) . I have to do a lot of activities to see results. But at least there is a way to see results. As for the sagging skin I am not wanting to see that. Janette

Scale Watcher...the only thing about having your SHD on Friday is that you may have a problem with the scale..It is recommended that you leave 3 days between your SHD and your Weigh in day.

Being on Friday, you will only have 1 day between your weigh in...You may see a gain on the scale if you keep them so close...It is a great ideas to have your SHD on the weekend when you can go out and enjoy the family.

Just wanted you to know. But your plan looks good.

Just wanted to let yall know I am trying this out this week. I actually started Thursday, my weigh in day, so we will see if my body likes this better next Thursday. My SHD is on Sunday which is today. I thought this would be good. I felt like the worlds biggest piggy today, but I made sure to eat 35 points! Im a scared now, cause I feel like I gained 10 lbs today, LOL!
