Default 1 pt per Cup cereal.

I like cereal alot, and i generally eat alot of it. I have found the WW vanilla puffed wheat that is 1 pt for a cup http://www.organicmilling.com/weight...fed_wheat.html, and i have also found just plain puffed wheat that is about the same. Although i love those cereals, i would like to know if anyone knows of any other cereals that are one pt for a cup? thanks for your help

When I eat those, I'm hungry again in about 20 minutes. I switched over to Special K red berry (2 pts/cup) because it sticks with me a little longer, but not much. If anyone knows of something more filling, I'd be thrilled. I love cereal in the morning!

If you want cereal that sticks with you longer-you need to choose a cereal that contains more protein than 2-3-4-5 grams per serving. Kashi brand cereals-especially Go Lean and Go Lean Crunch have much more fiber and stick with you a lot longer.

Thanks, Aphil. I did a search on the web and found the Go Lean is only 2 pts/cup also. I'll give it a try.

Yeah what aphil says! LOL! Higher the protein the more it will stick to you.

I like the Optimum Power. It has 10grams of fiber and is 3 points per cup. I pair it with FF yogurt and mix them togther for a 5 pt. breakfast. Sounds high in points but stays with me longer.
