I work out of town all week

  • I work out of town all week and would like suggestions for what to carry. I am hungry all the time because my new job I am walking bus to bus all day long. I also would like ideas for what i can carry in a cooler so I can fix some things in the motel rooms.

    Thank you,

    Kim
  • Cereal and milk is easy to get and/or carry. Milk can be kept cold on ice.

Sandwich/wrap fixens, salad fixens and be kept cold in a cooler.

Do you drive to and from places or fly? If you drive hit up some Truckstops and purchase some pots and stuff you can plug into your cigarette lighter to cook with.

Many motels have microwave-refrig combos for little or no money.
  • single servings of snacks, (pretzels, or carrots, small bags of ff popcorn) are good to munch on. Load your cooler up with fresh fruit, string cheese or stop in to pickup salad fixin's for your room. Hey, even McD's have good salads (careful on the dressings though) What about single servings of Campbells soups, I think they even have a microwavable kind called..."soup at hand or soup on the go?" Also, don't forget all your water. Good luck!!!
