I don't even know how....

how to get back on track, that is. Here's the deal: I need some help! I started WW on June 29th, and was pretty hardcore about it all July, August, and September. Then I moved in with 3 roommates who all eat like ****, and so during October, November, and December I hardly lost anything. Also, my schedule at work changed so I had to change from Tuesday night meetings to Saturday morning meetings. Add to that the holidays and the end of a 2+ year relationship, and the fact that I'm a stress/emotional eater, and what do you get? No meetings for 2 weeks, and not really sticking to program at all for the last month! I KNOW what to do, it just seems like there is this invisible electric fence keeping me from staying on program. I just really need some words of encouragement right now, before I really get off program, and can't get back on. I am going to FORCE myself to go to the meeting tomorrow morning, and I would really really appreciate some words of support so that I can get back on track. Thanks guys.

You've lost so much already, don't quit now. You can do it.

As for the roommates, try setting aside separate space. Cook your healthy stuff in big batches and freeze single portions so you can say 'no thanks on the pizza, I've got dinner in the freezer'.

Don't stop!! I know how hard it is to live with someone who eats everything in sight. Maybe you could try and eat before they do, so you won't be so hungry?

hey hang on there

First, get back to a meeting! That always remotivated me. Don't worry if you gained. We've all been there. No one will judge you or anything like that.

If getting totally back on program is too overwhelming, start small. Do one thing at a time.

For instance, you could start this week by making sure you get all your water in, if nothing else. Then the following week, make sure you're getting activity. Then as you start to gain confidence, start getting your food plan back in order.

You can do this! You know how good it will make you feel!

Thank you guys....I actually DID go to the meeting this morning, and I was (very pleasantly) surprised to see that I'd dropped 4.5 pounds (3 of which I'd gained when I went to the last meeting). That means I'm now down 40 pounds, and I am really going to make an effort to get completely back on track...journaling everything, being honest when I'm journaling, drinking all my water, and trying to get active. Thanks for the encouragement, it helps a lot.

know how you feel

I've been going to WW for 16 wk now. It has been up and down the whole time. Am now WI more than when I joined. But, recommitted to program on Thurs. Just talk with your roomy's and explain how important this is to you and you need their help not to throw you off track. You know the program so just jump back on. Congrats on the loss today. Judy
