Okay, need some help here.

I am starting WW again after a few years off. I can't afford meetings right now, so I am going to have to guess if I am doing this right...lol...

I would like to know if anyone has a downloadable point calculator ?

Also I can't help but feel sad when I read some journals on here. Has anyone had real success and kept over 100 pounds off? :?:
'
thanks, my email is:

Good luck with starting WW over again. You can do it and the new program having the ability to work the Core program or Flex Plan should provide enough choice to be successful.
At my WW mtg. there are 2 women who have kept off 250# for over 10 years. There are at least 6 people who have lost and kept off 85-100# for over 3 years. They are inspiration to the rest of us and struggle at times, but keep on working the program.
Good luck and much success to you.

Renee - I don't have a points calculator, but just wanted to wish you luck. I'm not able to go to meetings right now. But, I have a "support group" that meets at my church weekly for bible study and accountability.

Don't get bummed about what you see here. My post will say that I joined this site years ago. But, I did not seriously try to lose the weight. How you do on your weightloss journey is completely up to you. Don't compare yourself to others.

If you can't go to meetings, I hope you do have accountability and support somewhere. Sites like this are great, but people you can see are great support too.

Renee, Maybe I suggest that you, at least, go to ONE ww meeting and get all their info, they are offering free registration right now due to their new core program. For the price of one meeting (in NH it's $11.00 a meeting) they are now giving out info on BOTH flex point and core programs with an entire meeting dedicated to explaining how each work. Worth the investment, I think.
If you have all the info and guides, you are "armed" with all the good stuff and then if you choose to "go it on your own" this site is great support.
Personally, I am sacrificing the money (and really broke) to attend meetings. I truly find that I need the meetings and to be successful. There is something psychological for me about having someone else weigh me every week! I try harder! I hope to break through the barriers and get to my goal and be lifetime with ww so I can go to the meetings for FREE and then also work for them, one day.
This site is wonderful, there are great people who are supportive and have totally "been there".
Drink water, exercise (even it it's hard at first, just do it!) and try. Once you start trying and make good choices, take "one day at a time" just like at an AA meeting! One thing that is working for me it that I am really avoiding sugar, sugar seems evil to me and it leads me to binge.
Perhaps you can start up (really recommend you get the right materials from ww still) a support group to meet in people's homes through a bulletin board at your local library or grocery store?
God luck and keeping trying. If you fail one day do not think that means you fail for a lifetime!
