I would really appreciate any advice anyone could give me on this topic:

I purchased MasterCook 5.0 - a year ago - but - I don't know whether it was me or the program - but I've never found it easy to use -

here are my questions if anyone can help me:

1) If I scan recipes into a folder on my desk top - can they be "imported" (is that the word?) into the personal cookbook in Mastercook? Do they have to be in a certain format or file type?

2)Is the new version of MasterCook any friendlier to use and does it have any advantages over 5.0?
